Chinatown Buffet

ive been eating here since they opened and i have always had a wonderful experience. food is always good and the employees are always nice.i would recomend china town buffett highly.

Last night myself and my girlfriend went out to the buffet to eat dinner at the chinatown buffet. The one in the shopping center next to Giant Supermarket. We went in and were sat down then we proceeded to get some food. I got about 5 steamed clams and 3 crab legs she got vegetable lo mein and a chicken dish some green beans. I started eating a clam it was like a large piece of rubber and I couldn't eat it then I tried a crab leg and it was cold and nasty. Then my girlfriend proceeds to eat and her food is not hot but luke warm barely warm even. We have had this problem there once before and had brought it to the attention of the manager and they tried fixing it and we bit our tongues so to speak and we finished our meals anyway. This time I couldn't do it I was only there 5 minutes or less. So I went to the manager and told him about the food problem and the temp. He said ok and then he picked up a digital thermometer with a probe I would say 6 inches long and he said the department of health says our food has to be 140 degrees and he stuck the probe all the way down to the bottom of the pan and it read like 150 (it would i guess its at the bottom of the tray). I said you stuck it to the bottom of the pan and he said how could I the pan is over 10 inchs deep( a lie). I said I really don't care because your clams are like rubber and the crab was cold and soggy, They were charging 11.95 for friday night dinner because of the seafood and I couldn't even eat it. The I told him I wanted to leave and he tried charging me 11.95 a piece for myself and my girlriend and I said "We only ate 3 bited between the 2 of us and your going to charge us over $25.00??" then I said I will give you 5 dollars for the 3 bites we took I thought that was fair . Then he goes into a shpeal about it costs so much to buy the crabs and the clams and I said " I can't even eat either they are nasty" the he offers me the lunch price cost which was still 6.95 a piece I said "no way s
