While visiting your stor in Waldorf, Md.on April 16, 2011, My 3 year old son was injured! While sitting on one of the couches in the showroom and a large framed glass picture, which was not hanging on the wall but, leaning against the wall, fell over on top of him. Causing him the to be crusher under the picture. He was complaining that his back was giving him pain. So, we had to take him to the emergency room to have him check. He had to get xrays done also.
I beleive the accident was cause by the neglegence of the this particular store. That picture would have fell on anyone that was sitting on that chair.
To top this all off. After the incident i was ignored by one of the salespersons when I asked for her assistance. Which was the secound time I was ignored that day by the same young lady.

I purchased a 6pc leather set less than a year ago and all 6 pieces are fading!! I placed several calls to VCF to only get the run around! Finally a service tech arrived 2 days ago, took pictures implying that the store should find the findings interesting, even went as far as questioning genuinity of the leather. His guess is as good as mine. Is it??? It can't be looking like it's 6yrs old already!! I was told the manufacturer warranty only covers the frame and springs but not the leather. What?? Unreal!!! On top of that we purchased the 3yr extended warranty as well as the fabric protection warranty and we still have no coverage??!!! Are you serious?? We received a call yesterday and the decision is that the condition is normal wear n tear and there is nothing they will do. You've got 2 be kidding!!! I will NOT RECOMMEND VCF 2 anyone nor will I spend another dime in that place of business!! The quality is poor, customer service is unprofessional n I am disspointed to the highest of disappointment!!!! ... ~GOD DON'T LIKE UGLY~!!!!

Congratulations Value City Furniture on winning my award for SINGLE MOST ANNOYING COMMERCIAL EVER. It would probably qualify as only mildly annoying if you didn't crank the volume up to level 9 as "I WANT IT ALL I WANT IT ALL" thunders through my living room. Enough already. Get rid of the marketing genius that thought that was a good idea. You've annoyed me to the point of trying to find an email of someone at your corporate office to complain to. I will never shop at your store.

I purchased a futon last month and less than two months my futon will not fold into a couch and leg broke off. I called about how to get the futon repaired. I was told to bring the futon in and it well be looked at to see if it can be repaired or simply just get it replaced. This sounded completely stupid but I listen and showed up with my futon (lucky I own a truck and have a good roommate). When I arrived, the customer service was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! The man in the back where you pick up furniture, seemed like he hated his job and it is probably because he works with a bunch of idiots!!! I was escorted to the customer service and was then told I would have to make an appointment for their repair person to come to my home and see what can be done with my broken futon. This was the same lady that told me I had to bring in my futon to be looked at by their repair person. DUMBASS!!! Now I became really hot! I wasted by afternoon by loading my futon into my truck, wasted gas money, wasted time going to Value City, wasted time waiting to get help, then I find out my futon will not be fixed or even looked at! Then the lady has the nerve to tell me to calm down. So, I asked to speak with a manager. It probably took a good 10 minutes for the manager to speak with me and I am still pretty hot that the manager decides he does not want to help me because I am yelling at him! Then he tells me to speak like a person. Excuse me, I am a person and you and your customer service sucks!!!! Then the manager walks away from me. What the hell kind of service is this!!! You have an upset customer and you do not have the patience to help; find a new job if you do not have people skills. Since the manager decides he does not want to help me, I go back up to the customer service counter to schedule a damn appointment for their repair person to come to by house, which will be in six days. So now I have books holding my bed up. They better fix my damn bed!!! What a joke, I will never buy furniture form Value City ever again and it is not because I received broken furniture it is because of the bad customer service!

Purchased a bedroom set less than three months ago. The side board is broken. I have been calling VCF for a month to replace this part. I was told that someone will call me back to arrange a time to come out and see it. One my third call the coordinator said I was the first on her list to call. I am still waiting. There is a one year manufacturer's warranty and I purchased an additional three year warranty. NEVER AGAIN!

I have purchase a dinning room, and had problems with the order. I turned around an purchase a coffee table with two end tables and had problem with my order. I decided to give them one more try and order a couch and love seat, lord be hold, a problem with my order and this was the last straw. When my furniture was delivered, the love seat was wrapped differently from the couch and the throw pilliows where totally different from the couch. I contacted the store and they said they will have to order the pillows. I have been waiting now for 4 weeks for the pillows to my love seat. This will be the last thing I order from Value City Furniture.

This store is appealing and has nice things. I believe the treatment of a customer should be top quality. I visited this store and waited for 35 minutes for a sales associate to come and help me. When I entered into the store the sales associates standing by the store did not greet me at all. I had to hunt a sales associate down to help me with my furniture. This business does not deliver on weekends. This was a very frustrating experience for me. The prices are fairly okay, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.
