While they may have a wide selection, the staff can be very rude and even non-present. I have been there multiple times to purchase Gamblin paints, only to find myself standing at the counter for 2-3 minutes with no one in sight. I could have just walked out. When the staff do appear, I get dirty looks rather than an apology. What happened to service? Once when browsing, a customer was asking an employee about which type of paint to use, and the employee repeatedly cut off her questions.

Also, the store is organized only in the sense that different supplies have "rows," but the rows themselves are in complete disarray. Materials scattered all over the shelves with no discernible ordering are far more common than a logical set up.

The whole experience makes me think the proprietors either don't know what their employees do to the store, or don't care. It's more like an art supply rummage sale run by disgruntled fast food employees and than an arts and crafts store.

The store does contain a wider variety of art supplies than other local stores, however, the store is organized only in the sense that different supplies have "rows," but the rows themselves are in complete disarray. Pros: decent selection

Cons: rude staff, disorganized, poorly managed

I was in the store the other day and was surprised to see that they even have some stained glass supplies. They have lots of paints and brushes - mostly this is what the feature, canvas, etc. But they do a decent job of covering the other arts too.

This craft store has more specialized crafting products! They have an enormous selection of specialized papers for artists including paper for drawing, scrapbooking, painting, etc. They also have more specialized tools for your crafting needs. It's an older store, but don't let that fool you, it's great for serious artists. If you want a broader range of more general supplies, try one of the bigger craft stores down the Pike.
