.

This is the best waterfront restaurant in Annapolis by a very large margin. Why?

1. View - It's nestled on the shoreline at the foot of the 450 bridge and directly across the Severn River from the Naval Academy where you get to enjoy unobstructed views from most of the seating areas. Multi-level outdoor seating has even nicer views (but you do have to deal with bugs)
2. Food - I came here for their Sunday brunch and I keep coming back because the food is unparalleled. Even my friends and family back in Philly are hooked on the Severn Inn's Sunday brunch! The buffet is large, fairly priced, unlimited mimosas and bloody marys and far better gourmet options compared to their closest competitor.
3. Environment - Nicely appointed and airy feeling throughout. It gives you the sense of a converted boathouse without being obnoxiously nautical-themed.
4. Ambience - This is a good place for a first date.

Parking is a bit limited and could be challenging to find especially after 12pm on Sunday when the churches let out. I recommend reservations (I use OpenTable), especially for the wildly popular Sunday brunch.
