I lived in this building in two different apartments for four years while I was in grad school. My first apt was on the perimiter of the 12th floor and had great views of downtown. The only issue was noise from the firestation at all hours of the night, but you quickly become used to this and soon don't even notice it anymore. I then moved to a larger apt overlooking the central courtyard. The views are not as impressive, but it is much quieter. The apartments are very nicely appointed and the doormen are great. I always felt very safe in this building even though the surrounding street still needs to be improved. The location is great for grad students and professionals
