The walk in clinic at the University of Maryland Family medicine associates is pretty good. The doctors are very nice, but the rest of the staff could do with a class in manners. The customer service (like at many doctors offices) stinks. For the price though, I can't really complain much. Plus the doctors are very kind, so once you get past the desk staff everyone else is great.

As a student at UMB I am required to use UM family medicine for my primary care as part of my benefits package. The only reason I stick with them is because I don't have to pay a copay there. Other than that it is pretty lackluster. Their front desk personnel are, in general, not personable and some are downright rude. It can be difficult to get an appointment because now you may only call one day ahead to schedule--if your doctor is full for the next day, you are out of luck or must use a different doctor. Many doctors only have hours one or two days a week. However, both doctors I have had there have been very knowledgeable and I trust their care. They also handle a very wide range of cases and have walk in care available.
