This hospital is one of the best because it's qualifications for it's doctors are really strict. They believe in quality and go out of their way to help you. They take care of you and make you feel comfortable. As a school, the school is good reputation and makes sure their students are up-to-date not only with their knowledge, but also in that they know how to treat their future patients.

My husband was injured in his leg and we took him to the ER at UMMS. We were there for about 4 hours total--not terribly bad for a non-lifethreatening injury I suppose. Of that we waited for about 3 and a half hours before being seen. The care he received was good, they did everything I thought they should have. Nothing ended up being wrong besides a bad bruise, but he required X rays and crutches. Total cost was 300. Overall, not how anyone wants to spend time, but I thought the staff made it worth going there. They also have a shock trauma center that sees lifethreatening cases from all over the region.
