4 Stars: Delicious, traditional American seafood restaurant (by Carrie W.)

I'm not sure what all of this negative fuss is about. I love the Crackpot. Their blackened crabcake or the prime rib have to be my favorite. And French dip is to die for. I've been coming here for three years now and I've never had a bad experience. It's a nice little family-owned kinda seafood restaurant. I think you should check it out for yourself and see.

3 Stars: Not Taking A Chance (by Ed E.)

I heard of this establishment on the radio as the Crabcakes sounded real good on the way home. Went right to the site to see location and reviews. Unfortunately, it looks like a bunch in Baltimore In-Fighting. I'll take the advice from the Old-School customers and look elsewhere. Besides, there's nothing worse than rude waiters.

5 Stars: NO WAY (by Rose D.)

Our family used to love our dinners at the CrackPot. BUT, NOW the food is horrible! Even the steamed crabs are far from what they used to be. I went several times, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. EVERYtime, it was bad cafeteria food. NEVER again!

1 Stars: Kristin (by Kristin O.)

Just awful, worst food ever. Went for surf and turf and got crap. The filet wasn't a filet and was just chewy and gross worst then a sirlion. the crab was okay but not restaurant quality. after $60 spent and a complaint to the manager the was no resolution except for the fact that i will not go back the manage didn't even want to refund our money, what a jerk. the waiter was okay during the visit but when the manage went to him to ask him a question he was a liar.

5 Stars: Best steamed crabs & Seafood in Balto. (by Tiffany W.)

We have been coming to the the Crackpot for years and love the food. Surprisingly the ribs & prime rib are outstanding. We love the great crabcake selection. The Crackpots's steamed crabs are always a special treat.

3 Stars: Don't listen to the racist (by william r.)

The person that said this area was dangerous is simply racist. This area is now AfricanAmerican, but not unsafe by any stretch. She simply must be your average Baltimore white trash who grew up there when it was white trash. As for the food... solid. Stay away from the flavored crabcaeks though. Stick with the regular ones.

4 Stars: Huge crabcakes at a great price (by Jennifer M.)

Crack pot ws really great they have a huge crabcake platter for a great price. All the food we had was great and the service was great too. Very clean inside we will visit again. The only thing I did not like was the location not the best neighborhood anymore. I grew up in the area so I know when they opened it was not like the way it is now. You are still safe just feels a little werid.

4 Stars: home of the colossal crab cake (by G W.)

The crackpot has the biggest crab cake I've ever seen...and it wasn't just filler. I've had the steamed crabs here too. They were a bit pricey but heavy crabs and very well seasoned.
