Henry's Towing company has a contract with the apartment complex in Maryland which I moved into over six months ago. The idea is that when non-residents who do not have permits park in the parking lot, Henry's Towing comes once a day and when called to remove at least one vehicle. In the six months that I have been here, I have called Henry's Towing at least once every week. The company's secretaries are incredibly crass, crude, and unprofessional. I am always polite, courteous, and professional on the phone; however, I have been placed on hold for excessive amounts of time (sometimes for over 30 minutes, at which point I gave up); I have been cussed at, insulted, and even hung up on. If these individuals had given me their names, I certainly would provide them, but, more often than not, they say "Hello" and then I am immediately placed on hold.

At one point, Henry's Towing towed my vehicle, even though I had, and still have, a parking permit. They then refused to release my vehicle to the individual holding my power attorney while I was out of town, and charged me $200 to reclaim my vehicle. I attempted to contact the manager via telephone, but the secretary was rude, hung up on me, and refused to connect me to the supervisor or manager. No amount of reason would persuade him to do otherwise.

Also, while Henry's has a contract with my apartment complex, which states that when requested, they will come to the complex and remove at least one vehicle, they have failed to do so. I have called them about once every week since I have moved in here, and, though I have watched and waited for their appearance, no tow truck was ever dispatched to my building, or, if one was, it somehow never quite made it here.

I do not understand how this company has managed to stay in business. They have no customer service skills, and are obviously not a well-run organization. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and fail to fulfill their obligations.

I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but this obviously does not affect Henry's at all, because they have received an "Unsatisfactory" rating for well over a year on the Bureau's website.

All I can say is to warn you: DO NOT use this company! They are shady, unprofessional, and, frankly, their employees make me feel incredibly unsafe.
