The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites is located on 126th street in North Ocean City. The hotel has 122 rooms with 66 suites, some of which have whirlpool tubs. We are only a block and a half from the beautiful beaches that Ocean City has to offer. We are also conveniently located in front of Northside Park Sports Complex that host s lacrosse, soccer, basketball and softball tournaments. The hotel is just a short drive away from the world famous Boardwalk as well as some of the finest restaurants in Ocean City. If you want to play a round while you are here, some of the best golf courses in the area are within a fifteen-minute drive. Our guest room amenities include free wireless high-speed Internet access, refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, coffee maker and a hairdryer. For your convenience a guest laundry is also available.

We stayed here in this hotel from August 15 to 17. We got two rooms, since we had another couple with us and 2 kids. Below is our PRO and CONS:
PROs:
1. Price-wise it was competitive. We paid $209 per night for a 2 queen bed room. Other places charge $230+ per night.
2. VERY Clean. I pay attention to a lot of details and the room was well kept. They now have a sign stating that any missing towels they will charge you (I guess they lose money when they have to keep replacing them). They have very soft and very white pillows. Also they replaced the BIG comforters with thinner ones (which can be washed easily) which is a plus. The bathroom was very clean. Even when we washed after going to the beach the cleaning ladies got all the sand(which was a lot). The lobby was small but very nice.
3. Location. It's on he 126th street so don't expect a brisk walk to the boardwalk(it's at least 10 miles away) but it's close enough to the beach. My wife was 6 months preggy and she had no problem. There are 2 restaurants as soon as you walk outside and a small shoppes area on the same block.
4. Amenities. They have 2 pools, one indoor and one outdoor. very clean and kid friendly. Internet access is free. Ice machines on the 5th floor. Easy access in and out of the hotel. The hallways a little narrower than normal for a hotel but not a problem getting around. They have sufficient number of CARTS. I did not need to run around to look for one.
5. The most important!!! They are very friendly. VERY!!!! The front people are very friendly! The other arrived late in the evening and they had no problems. I had problems with my card (my son bought those magnets and messed up my card) and they redid it with no complaints, twice. The CLEANING PEOPLE were very nice. We were not able to clean the room at the normal cleaning time so they came back later. Also they were very polite when I asked for directions or an extra soap. Also I spoke to other folks who work there and all were genuinely friendly. There are NICE people and there are people who act nice. Everybody in this hotel are NICE people.
CONS:
1. Aha... thought you can get away without a con... The only thing about this that i would improve is the breakfast. There is a bit to be desired in selection but the quality is good. Well, don't expect steak and eggs for a free breakfast.
Conclusion: Next year we will definently be returning to this hotel. I've tried the Comfort Inn (a couple streets down) last year and this place kicks it butt. I highly recommend it!
