Towson Veterinary Hospital is Great

by Jake W.

I bring my lab to Towson Vet and I am very happy with the care he gets. The staff is very kind with the exception of the person who typicly answers the phone. I would recomend this hospital to anyone.

Towson Vet.Hosp.

by nancy m.

Absolutely one of the worst vet. hospitals around; Dr. H. & Dr. F. never seem to have a full understanding of pets' needs and treatments;misdiagnose quite often and the place smells awful, too!

Great Care for Your Pets

by Dave L.

I've been bringing my dogs and cats to Drs. Fiormonte and Hauptman for the last 30 years. I can't say enough about their skill in diagnosing and curing my animals illnesses and in coaching me throughout the process. I only wish that I could find doctors for myself that were this good.

Fantastic, caring facility

by E. L.

Something seems fishy about the negative review below, leaving me to wonder if it was written about another vet office several miles to the north, where my pets DID have a terrible experience much like what was described.)

Towson Vet. Hospital is the BEST I've ever found. Period. Dr. Fiormonte is the most tender, caring, scrupulous vet I've ever met, and this center is run with care, intimacy, and concern for both animals and their owners. I've boarded my pets here (one with serious separation anxiety) and they've always been well cared for during visits.

Examples of how special this place is: they've called me at home after hours to check how my ill pet was doing; during emergencies they've prioritized triage like the best (human) hospitals; when it was finally necessary to euthanize my pet after a long illness, they gave us time and space to be together throughout those last moments and even mailed a condolence letter signed by everyone on the staff.

Also, I should mention that my pet lived far longer than any other vets imagined, which is why I started coming to TVH (for a second opinion) in the first place.

Simply put-- these people "get it." They offer spectactular and affectionate care, and offer the most reasonable rates as well! (They probably keep costs down by having a very simple office that's not 'fancified" and a small, young staff.) Obviously, I think this office is the best, and would continue coming even if I ever moved away from the vicinity.

Family at heart

by Anonymous

Ive must admit, I was shocked when I heard about someone leaving poor reviews for Towson Vet. Ive been a client here for over 10 years and even my children bring their pets here and board them several times threw out the year for vacation and what have you. The doctors are like family to us, go out of their way to make sure our dogs and cats are well taken care of. Dr. Fioramonti himself as always giving 110% into the care and treatment and although I personally have never dealt with the other doctor, my husband has and says he also goes all out despite not even being our normal doctor and knowing the difficulties it is having to treat someone elses client. I was shocked when I heard about the poor reviews and knowing that indeed no one is perfect, mistakes happen, I find it hard to believe suck mistakes were not only made but left unattended and neglected. The animals care and safety has always came first in the eyes of the doctors and the staff.

Very nice kennel

by Anonymous

I was really happy with the care my dog got while boarding there. She requires special medicine to help with her heart condition and i was very worried about boarding her since i either take her with me or leave her home with a friend. A family friend recommended this kennel and they said they were satisfied with the care their animals received and since my normal house sitter was tied up, i decided to give this boarding kennel a try. The staff were very friendly and understanding of my worries and had no problem with me calling up every day to check on my dog. My dog was healthy as can be when i got her, the staff and doctors did a real nice job taking care of her.

Our dog had to go to the Pet ER after staying here!

by Anonymous

We had to take our dog to the Pet ER where he was admitted in critical condition the same day we picked him up from their kennel. Our dog requires medication which he was obviously never given and when we questioned the doctors they were confrontational and rude! Even the specialist we consulted said they only way our dog got so sick so fast is if he did not receive his medication. Even more disturbing is that they released our dog to us without being able to recognize how visibly sick he was. NEVER take your animals to this hospital or kennel.
