I disagree with the guy that wrote the first review. First off I am from Florida and moved here 9 months ago(I still have my liscense and I.D from Florida. I live 1 block from Toziers and go in there at least once a day if not more! Ive gotten to know the people and ALL of them are very nice and friendly to me, and they know I'm from outta state. They have never tried to upcharge me for anything. They also are very helpful if I ask a question. The ladies in the deli are actually the nicest ones. Tons of people daily order from that deli and are very satisfied. These women are mature and would NOT spit in your food. Toziers is convienant and are a little higher prices on some items than Hannoford, but have a good selection for a fairly small supermarket. One last thing I filled up my tank when I first moved here with gas it came to $67 after pumping I realized I had lost my wallet. I freaked out and told the lady I just moved here and must have lost it somewhere in Biddeford(the last time i pumped with my card. The lady couldnt have been older than 27 said No problem and paid for it on her credit card and told me when I get my card back to pay her then. I was a total stranger from outta state and she was kind enough to do thid for me. Believe it or not If that woul have happened in Fl the cops would have been on the seen in 5 minutes. I have found everyone up here in Maine very nice. Also not to mention churches are very helpful in times of needs. The city hall helps pay your bills if you cannot afford them or prescriptions. And after 3 years my hubby finally got on ssi and proper medical treatment b/c he was literally dying. Those are ALL things that Florida just wont do. Overall Maine is wonderful and the people talk to you and are super friendly. This person must of got pretty mad about something to write that review. P.S Hannord is great to the pharmacist are VERY VERY nice and the people that work there will go out of their way to help you find a product. Im not saying everyones that way there are mean and rude people out there but judging that all Mainers are nasty is NOT TRUE-coming from someone who just moved here and loves the people!

It is fair to say that Maine is beautiful, it is fair to say that there are very few resources in Maine since it is mostly rural and towns are tiny along the coast and their big tows are smaller than most in the U.S, it is also fair to say that mainers are pissed off all the time and hate "outsiders" as they call us, most cities in the U.S. would call them "visitors" or "tourists" if they ever visited anywhere, but not they, no, they will make sure you know they hate you and that is what the employees at this little market, that appears cute until the employees begin to make out-loud comments about you, sneer and try to cheat you in prices, overcharge you and insult you. Go to Hannaford's or the Belfast Coop, in Belfast about 6 miles south, I don't guarantee that the mainers there won't hate you, but at least the store is bigger, cleaner and you may get lost amongst the many customers so that you won't get targeted by the hateful employees. Also I would not order any food at their deli, they are the kind that spit in your food, I know unbelievable but true. You have been warned! The management most likely does not know about their employees, because every time I was there, and the manager came out, they all transformed as if by magic and hid their claws and fangs, and smiled!
