good people to work with. they really know what thier talking about. I went to so many places that could really give me any info on how the homes are constructed, or the difference between all the models. they really explained where to look for quality and didnt talk me into a lot of usless options.

We purchased a new Modular home this year and when they gave us the keys to move in we were totally disappointed and in shock! Our floor were warped so bad we needed a block to level our table, our roof is horriable, as they tried passing off different color shingles! They cut our roof truss. The kitchen ceiling dining room all had water damage ! Twin town homes of oxford Maine has been in business for years but they actually have new family management with very sub par workers! We have well over 30 issues including the roof,warped floor joists doors, vinyl siding issues and damaged soffit and exterior doors . I could go on and on . when I told them to come take the house back they pulled there service crew off the job and had me contact the state of Maine manufactured housing Board and they have been tring to help resolve these issues and also said that this was the poorest workmanship the inspector has ever seen! We paid them in full on delivery day!! a Once they recieved there money we became out of sight out of mind. Our kitchen/dining room/hallway has linoleum which had nail pops throughout and staples at every room at the merge line. they offered us $600.00 cash settlement if we replaced it on our own. We decided to get 3 estimates on our own and since we have a chip board base (which you cannot glue to) it would cost us between $2100-$3000 for the exact quality of flooring. to fix our roof and vinyl siding and roof were looking at another $14000 this doesn't address our major floor issues with the bent floor joists. I could go on and on but its been 191 days now and they haven't done anything as promised. Please do your research before buying. ask them to speak with any customers that have Purchased a home this year! Ask them to see the ranch they delivered to Farmington Maine, which is mine and it was delivered on Feb 11 2008 and I can show you what you can expect! The state of Maine needs to proctect us from people like them
