Bootleggers Tavern

I eat at Bootleggers every chance I can, I especially like eating there on Thursday, as the chef shops the local farmer's market and buys the fresh items on sale that day. Last Thursday I had stuffed pork chops with apples, raisins, and the best herbs ever. He also twice cooked potatoes that was seasoned to perfection. My most enjoyable eating that night was the fresh salad mix, with the chef's touch on seasoning. The chef at Bootleggers is really the best chef in Waterville and so personable and friendly. He comes to your table and tells you about the food he has prepared with such pride and love. He definitely knows how to present a meal in a plate. The waitress (Sarah) is the best, so helpful with deciding what to eat and drink and so efficient with her service. I would have to rate this restaurant a AAAA+. This is a tavern and does play a lot of television sport events in almost every corner, and a pool table for your enjoyment along with darts while you wait for your food and drink.Please try this restaurant you will not be disappointed.I plan on going back this Thursday and cannot wait to see what he offers up for food that day. Remember you can also eat outside on the roof. Try it and I am sure you will go back again and again.

In good weather enjoy a beer with a meal or appetizer right up on the roof deck. How unique! Play electronic trivia downstairs with the other patrons. Free peanuts in the shell to go with that beer, too. Saturday nights it's hoppin' with live bands. Fun place!

Helpful staff were eager to provide good service. The deck is wonderful in the summer time. Pool tables and reasonable prices make this a good place to return.
