Bruno's

Bruno's made me feel very welcomed to Maine in August 2009. Janine is absolutely the best. Jody our server, was also very friendly and professional. The food is fantastic and they serve large portions, My husband and I went back again when I returned in October. Janine and Jody remembered us which made me feel right at home. I would recommend Bruno's to everyone for their great food and excellent service.

So, sure, I'm a NYC food snob. And while my hometown of Portland has great seafood, I wasn't expecting Bruno's - which looks so unassuming when you're driving down Allen Ave - to be good. I apologize profusely, because this restaurant was the bomb. The bar area is adorable and the dining area was cozy. Our server was a little odd, but the food was spectacular. Hearty Italian fare - great ravioli - and very reasonably priced.

this is my favorite restaurant. they have great italian food! their prices are good. they have huge portions! the setting is small and intimate with a separate bar as well. the service is always friendly.
