The reason I go to Tim's store is hoping to see Victoria Haas. I wish she was around more. She is very beautiful indeed. Tim's store is also the best place to be in the area...but there are other reasons to go besides the books.

For years i have been going to Tim's book store. I went there when my father Ernst Haas was alive and after his death Tim's book store was a haven for me. My most favorite thing to do when i go to Maine is to join up with Paul Caponigro in front of the store and wave to the cars going by and chat with all the photographers about books and life and art.Without even knowing it Tim is running a Salon of photography.He is so well liked that when the store is closed we don't really know what do to with ourselves.thanks Tim for all the laughs and letting me just sit at your store and look at books and have long discussions about life.

This is one of the greatest books stores I have ever been to! If you like photography and are into photo books, then Tim is your man. He is one of the most knowledgeable individual that you could ever meet when it comes to photography. This quaint bookstore although small in size has one of the largest selection of photo books you will find anywhere. He also sells prints of famous photographers as well. I had the pleasure of talking to Tim on many occasions and each time he recommended a different photographer for me to check out. He really expanded my knowledge of photographers and history in photography.If you are ever in Rockport Maine this is a definite stop you need to make.
