Among all of the seafood joints in town lies Cafe This Way. It is tucked away behind Tamarind and a wonderful treat in a touristy town. It was a summer night and so crowds were a concern but choosing to eat a little later (around 9:30) meant that we did not have to wait for a table and had speedy, friendly service. I enjoyed everything I ate from the fresh bread, the delicious cocktails, crab cake appetizer and the grilled lamb sirloin. The cilantro-mint chimichurri on top was a little overbearing in the amount provided but using less led to a perfect complement to the lamb. There also was the goat cheese quesadilla that was good. Our server was very friendly and punctual. My only wish was that I had room for the many homemade desserts they offered. There is a gluten-free menu for those in need. Also, they are known to have a wonderful breakfast. It is a welcome change from the standard fried/broiled seafood joint. In addition, there is wonderful outdoor dining space away from the crowds and traffic.

This cozy little cafe serves breakfast and dinner from May to October. We went for both breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both. The cafe is very cozy, with comfortable seating and hundreds of books in shelves on the wall. The menu is very healthy, using local and organic foods, and features something for everyone, from seafood, to duck, to meats.

What a find. We love this little cafe that we found off a side street. Comfortable and cozy lined with books with a little bar. We have only been here for an early dinner but I've heard they have a wonderful breakfast. Meals vary so much I guess I would consider the food eclectic cuisine. They have a great flat-bread pizza. Even one with pears and blue cheese on it. I could not talk my husband into trying that one. A neat little place tucked into a neat little location!
