No management... Little girls run the place with disgusting language, and have told people to leave just because they can. Lots of drama amongst the staff.

Ruby's is a casual dining establishment with a menu very similar to Chili's,or TGIF. They have the basic burgers and fried foods along with a selection of Tex Mex items. We always get the Nachos Grande which is a meal in itself.

Ruby's offers the most diverse menu in the York Beach area. While not within walking distance of the beaches, it is convienently located on Route 1 near Hannafords. I-95 is 3 minutes away. Food quality is very good but they often over-cook. Emphisize if you want something rare. Best bets are the daily specials, appitizers (half price 4pm to 6pm) ) and fire oven baked pizza. Atmosphere is simple however you have three dining areas to choose from. The main dining area is good for families, the bar (couples), and the outside porch (year round) for groups. Bartenders share floor responsibilities so if you need something quick, eat at the bar and not a table. One heads up- during rushes mixed drinks are often served in plastic cups. In summary, think: Uno's, Applebee's, and the 99 Restaurant in a small local restaurant.

Pros: Entrees under $20, sharp staff, often open on holidays, Food quality & amount, No beach traffic

Cons: Plastic cups, don't look for healthy menu choices, Accoustics in Bar, Can't walk fr/ beach
