This is more of a tourist trap. The foods is not really up to the price. I and my bf ate there and were charged $70 for twin chix lobster at a season where I can get them at restaurant for $20. They claim to have the best salad, but its just like any super market salad. Its made for tourist. Dont go there if you really want to eat good qaulity foods.

ONly 3 stars, but they only let me select 4 stars-else i cannot post

Warren's has been around since I was a kid. It's a great place to take the family, or any large group. They have large tables and can accommodate a large party. Their seafood is terrific, and it is located right on the water.

Very family freindly!!! The salad bar is awesome with everything you could possibly imagine. The lobster is fresh and cooked perfectly. Lots of fun. It is a little more pricey but what lobster place isn't.

Their house special is lobster-clams and onion rings, and their service is great and always a smile comes with it. This was always a favorite for Senior Prom night dinners.

This is our favorite restaurant to eat at when we are vacationing in Maine. The menu has a huge selection. They also have a great salad bar. The prices are very reasonable. They have valet parking. The only downside is that their is usually a long wait.

My husband & I never expect good service from this tourist trap restaurant. The salad bar is it's only redemption-but the food is mediocre. The last straw was this week when we waited over 20 minutes after being seated for a waitress to acknowledge our presence. I even had to get an additional table setting because there was not enough at the table. The manager approached us without giving her name, rolled her eyes when we told her of the complaint, tried to compensate us with their tired old $10 offer, and never returned to see if all proceeded well. We have reluctantly gone in the past with friends visiting from out of state but we will never return again to this place nor recommend it to others.
Avoid the mediocrity, consistently poor service.

Tried the Lobster House for the first time tonight. I would expect that a place so close to fresh seafood would serve fresh seafood. I started off with the fried calamari. That was pretty decent. Their salad bar was well-stocked, but not everything there was as fresh as it could have been. My main course was steamed mussels in a white wine butter sauce with garlic. The steam coming off the mussels smelled like they had been cooked in sewer water. I had them sent back and replaced them with crab cakes which were too salty. I noticed that I was not the only one to send back the mussels. My date had the Queen Anne Haddock. This was very fishy tasting. We both felt that the menu didn't describe the food adequately. The food was not a good value for the money and I will not eat there again.

Pros: Nice Ambience, Good View, Good Salad Bar

Cons: Pricey, Food Not Fresh
