I have boarded a few dogs over the years at Puddleby On The Hill. No other place on Earth has the warmth and love generated by these people. My present baby is a rescue and she's terrified of anyone but me. At Puddleby she bonded with the owner and came home happy and healthy. I used to live in Farmington, NH, Now we live in Tennessee. I have tried 2 different kennels down here with good reputations. One was a nightmare. My Sammi came home stinking and traumatized. The other was cold and unfeeling. When I go home this March for a visit, I'm driving. So I can take Sammi and she can stay at Puddleby while I visit various relatives. Puddleby On The Hill is worth a thousand mile drive, if you love your pet.

We've been boarding our dogs there since 1989. There is no more wonderful staff. There is no cleaner, safer environment to place our boys. Tom and his staff never disappoint. They are very capable, no matter the situation. Everyone there is knowledgeable and patient. I would recommend them to any and everyone who needs a special place for their special friend!

We boarded our King Shepherd there 09-12-09. First time boarding any where. She has seperation anxiety, and adores my husband. The staff was awsome, was very knowledgeable and the place is gorgeous. They really have it together over there and as a former Vet. tech, I would be very picky. Kieana came out to us very happy, and had eaten her supper the night before, which would'nt have happened, if she was uncomfortable. We highly recommend Puddleby's and will use them for any reason that we may need to board. I won't go anywhere else, it's easy to see how wonderful they are to the animals.....sue and don of West Newfield

I brought my 17 month old black lab to Puddlebys in June of 2009 for the first time and we have been back many times since. We have a vacation home in Shapleigh and there are days we need to be away for more than a few hours. We also left her there for a week while on vacation further up in Maine and I'm very happy with her care. I mention the name and she goes crazy. She gets to play with other dogs which is great and the staff seems to enjoy her too, except when she jumps in the watering hole. Can't keep a lab out of the water. The staff is very knowledgeable and have helped us out with some training tips. I would highly recommend them.

Our Lab/Husky is a big baby very attached to us. She has a little arthritis that often plagues her. This concerned us when it came time to board her.We were very pleased with the demeanor of the staff and owner. Large kennels with homey feel no cement or cage. Clean with frequent trips outside. When she did need her arthritis medicine, after playing, we were confident she received it. We have used Puddleby for weekends and one and a half weeks and were pleased each time. We are now in Farmington NH and still drive the distance to feel our dog is well cared for, at great price.

I started taking my dog there in 1991 when I lived in Sanford, Maine and I would never go anywhere else. Even though I moved to Wolfeboro and then to Tuftonboro, New Hampshire - I still happily drove the hour out of the way to bring my dog there to be boarded when I went on vacation. Although I haven't needed the services of a kennel in a couple of years now, when I do they will be the only one I will call.

We have been using Puddleby's since 1995. The boarding kennels were huge. Our dog was enjoying a fireplace and classical music, post and beam kennels with floor up plexiglass doors,where did they come up with this? We felt bad boarding our pet until we realized that she would be enjoying a great pet vacation!
Puddleby On the Hill has been in the business for years for a reason, low prices and world class care-giving. If was good enough for an ex-governors pet it would certainly do for ours. You guys are the best, Thank you
PROS: Owners are pet lovers and it shows in their service.

Puddleby on the hill was recently introduced to me when I was looking for a place to board my dog for the weekend. What an amazing place this was. The owners are wonderful they took such good care of my dog and they even carry different brands of food that way your dogs diet will not be changed. The facility was very clean. This reminded me of a doggie spa.

I like to refer to Puddleby as a doggie spa. This is a beautiful kennel to board any dog. I have brought my dog to other kennels and she has come back extremely tired and smelly. At Puddleby she stays clean and she does not want to come home. The owners are wonderful people and I will never go anywhere else.
