On my first trip to Maine I ate here. I was so taken with the location I insisted on bringing the entire family. My children were thrilled because it was the first time they had eaten lobster but I as we traveled through the state we realized that the lobster here was overpriced.

We finally stopped here for lunch after walking the Marginal Way for the last five years. We just had a simple lunch and my wife and teenages actually could find something besides seafood that appealed to them. Think we spent $35 for the four of us for lunch - was worth this price.

I could not agree more with the first review. The only thing I'd like to add is that I ordered a lobster for lunch and paid an outrages amount of money for it and they only gave me a lobster. No salad, no roll, no nothing! Apparently, if you want some kind of sides with your lobster, you have to ask and pay extra.

Oarweed is your typical crowded tourist trap seafood restaurant. The location is great. They are right on the ocean and that is their selling feature. The food is fair and the service was not so good. The lobster I got was bland and overcooked and left water on my plate, With so many other excellent restaurants to choose from, don't waste you time here.
