Unique little store in downtown Farmington, Maine.
Specialty, and Gourmet items, local produce, eggs, bread, cheeses, chocolates, and wines, AND the best freshly roasted coffee in the State of Maine: Benbow's ...many blends available, Equal Exchange, Organic, Swiss Water Process for the Decaf blends. The Italian Roast is "to die for", and is one of their top sellers. Don't miss this little gem!

This is a great little store. If you are local, the owner (Nina) will know you when you come in. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. It's not a bargain store - but this isn't a competitive metropolitan area with easy access to the kinds of goods this store carries. I know from conversations with the owner that some of the things she carries simply don't get delivered to this rural area, close to an hour from the Interstate - so they go get them. We're also not a population center, so they have to pay all the bills with inventory in a small venue. But they pack a lot into the cozy little store. Lots and lots of yummy things and personal service.

You aren't a number to them in here. They carry a nice selection of specialties from far away, and a good selection of very special locally and other Maine made eats.

This is a nice little store for the luxuries in life, but their prices are a little out of control. Having recently relocated from a major urban area where I could buy these items for a lot less, I was a little shocked by what was being charged. Still, good selection of chocolates, homemade bread, dairy, and coffee.

PROS: Yummy things in stock, great customer service
CONS: pricy, small, selection is limited
