Took my 1999 Suburban,to whites muffler for a low brake pedal , Also my exhaust was loud. I had previously been to another shop were I waited an hour before they even pulled me in,the manager didn't even care and seem to want my business. I then called a friend and asked about a good muffler and brakes shop. When I was referred to whites. I walked into a whites and was greeted with great customer skills. The shop was packed, an within 15 minutes my truck was pulled to be checked with a free inspection. I was explained in detail what I needed and the manager was very professional. For all the repairs I had done at whites , going anywhere else would have cost me an arm and leg. Prices are great, and I had my truck within the same day. HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL , got a car/truck problem go to whites.

I had an excellent experience! My wife's car was having some kind of transmission problem. She took it to White's for an estimate. They did a tranny service that fixed the issue - old fluid. I was worried it would be a $1000 repair...but they are honest and took good care of us.\r\n\r\n

I took my 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue to them because it was running very rough. The technician looked at the car, and in just a few minutes replaced a vacuum line that fixed the problem. They didn't even charge me. That's integrity & service!! They could have charged me for some part or labor that I wouldn't have even known the difference. It's hard to find an honest mechanic...these people are it. Highly recommended.\r\n\r\nI appreciate the folks at White's Muffler & Brakes.

This review is coming from somebody that used to work for this place, I did not get fired, I left the job..here is why\n\nThe place has a great location and is a large facility. Deanna was a nice lady who worked up front. This place hires mechanics off of craigslist, and apparently turns over mechanics as often as they take the garbage out. Want a front end alignment? They don't use a computerized alignment equipment, their front end alignment consists of tieing a string to the rear axle and pulling it up to the front wheels and making them straight with the front wheels. Thats it, no other angles are properly adjusted, so if you have a problem with your tires wearing unevenly, its not going to get fixed. \n\nWhen they have to drain a radiator or anything involving antifreeze, they just let it drain onto the floor and then wash it away into the drain, making no attempt whatsoever to properly contain the hazardous fluids. Who knows where their drains are draining too.\n\nA customer bought a car off them, a few days later, a axle shaft broke on the car. The customer was very upset, as they JUST bought the car. It was a used car and nobody couldn't have known the axle was going to break like it did. Instead of paying a mere $50 to get a remanufactued axle, the owner put up a totally unnecessary fight with the customer, giving him the ""you signed AS IS"" crap excuse. No customer skills what so ever.\n\nGot a brake light out when you come in to get service? Since they wont hardly make any money off it, they wont tell you about it.\n\nThey are a shop that throws parts at problems until its fixed.\n\nWant to work for them? I cant say anything about what they pay their mechanics, but I was a shop hand, and they payed me cash $300 a week. Working from 8-6, most of the time it was past 6, sometimes 7, without extra pay. 6 days a week. Due the math, it equates to about $4 something a hour. And if you want a day off, good luck. You would thing the end of the world was happening when you asked.\n\nThis place does poor work, and they will take you and your wallet for a ride. I will say that the guy that does the exhaust does nice work though (CJ). If you want exhaust work, they are quite reasonable and do good work. Anything else, good luck.
