Irish Mist

Had them clean our carpet in living room/hallway. I found that some areas were way to wet. I am talking water btw the toes wet. I called to ask them to come out and remove more water as it was obvious there was WAY too much water left. They refused, basically telling me I had no idea what I was talking about cuz I was a woman and refused to come back out. They told me I was exaggerating and it would dry in a day or two. I called my daughter who rented a machine and came out the same day. She pulled the excess water out for me. If someone had not done it I am sure the carpet, padding, and the wood floor underneath would have been ruined..especially if I had waited the day or two that rude phone man suggested. Thank goodness someone knows how to run a machine right to pull out excess water cuz it certainly isn't Irish Mist...I mean Irish Bog.

Two weeks ago, I had my home carpet cleaned, I paid more than what was quoted on the phone, and the gentlemen forgot to do my basement stairs.

I called and explained, and they said they would send someone out when they were in the area.

Then I had a water heater leak and needed to have the basement done as well.

Today I had the basement done; I had been quoted $75.00 and paid $80.00.

It is unfair to quote one price on the phone and to ask for another price when you come to my door.

I called to complain about this happening twice, and about never getting a call back about the stairs, and and employee Mike was extremely rude to me. He took a rude tone, he told me that I didnt represent the amount of carpet I had accurately (how am I supposed to know thats your job), he started ranting about the socialist state we live in and yelling at me about voting for Obama. He was offended that I would dare complain, and he felt his company had been insulted, so he raised his voice to me, and hung up on me, twice.

The workmen were nice and professional and they did a good job on the areas that they did clean.

What a rip off! They cleaned my sofa and it looked the same after they were done. I redid it myself and now it looks great - so it was possible. When I called to inquire about how this could be the man was very rude. They scheduled another date and then canceled it due to illness. Do it yourself or go elsewhere - or just make a donation to them. Poor service - poorer cleaning.

I called to schedule an appointment and told them that I had to change my appointment time and the salesperson said that they could not change my time. He said that they would be there at the time they wanted to be there. When I told him my name, John Toye, he said, "You are full of yourself, we're not doing your carpets." I tried to call back several times and the same guy kept answering and telling me he wouldn't help me. He also used profanity several times. I demanded to talk to a manager and he wouldn't let me. I am very disgusted with this company!

we had Irish mist clean both our duct work and carpet. Both crews we on time, they did an exceptional job. we are very happy with the work that was performed. Our dust levels are now next to nothing, and the carpets turned out like new. And the price was reasonable.

I hired them while I was out of town and had someone meet them at the house. They were outstanding. Moved all the furniture without complaint and got all the difficult spots out. They even did an extra room. All for $79. Plus they did the couch and loveseat/ottoman and I couldn't believe how fresh and clean they came out. WOULD HIRE AGAIN!!!!

Didn't even bother to pre-spot, and no protection under the metal legs of the furniture for rust.

The "makeup" and other spots that "couldn't be removed" were easily taken out with some Home Depot carpet cleaner and a rag.

On a brighter note, a 9 room whole house cleaning, along with a couch cleaning only took an hour and 15 minutes.

Take the $150 and give it to your kids for new shoes, it will has about the same results.

I have bad allergies so we called Irish Mist to clean our air ducts out. They Have state of the art Vacuum Trucks and did a great Job. Having them do this has helped my allergies a lot. They get rid of the dirt and molds, animal hair and dander, we have a cat all things that effect allergies. Their whole house price was good and the workmen were very nice.
