The sandwiches at Maize N Blue Deli are really big! Huge in fact. Their are really great too. It's mind boggling how many different kinds of sandwiches they offer. Of course you can get chips and drinks to go with your choice.

They are easy to find on S. University and the parking is so-so.

This place doesn't get too crowded but is sooo good. It is like a good New York deli right in Ann Arbor. The menu is extensive, but I always get the Georgia Reuben. We lived a couple blocks from the deli so we'd go all the time. The seating is no frills but that is kind of the appeal. There is a lot of cool UM memorabilia all over the inside.

There isn't much in the way of seating here -- it's mostly college students sitting around talking or having a quick bite between classes. I'd recommend that you visit this deli with a party of three or less.

Gigantic chalkboards describe at least 40 different sandwiches, each with their own name and organized by the type of meat. Place your order, then find a seat and try to read the student grafitti scrawled on the maize & blue tiles. When your name is called, pick up your gigantic sandwich and arm-sized pickle.

This is the best deli I've ever been to. Friendly service and the sandwiches are fantastic. Warning: Sandwiches are so big that you might not get them in your mouth!!
