New Age Salon

Truthfully, I didn't hate it when I left but I didn't love it either. It was a little uneven and it felt thinner on one side than the other. However, I hadn't styled it that morning, and they do a dry-cut, so I blamed my hair (which is pretty thick and always looks better after I blow it dry.)
Later, after I washed it and blew it straight, it looked bulky and more uneven than it had the day before... but maybe I just didn't do a great job blowing it out, so I pulled it into a half ponytail, and one side was thinned more than the other. I look lopsided. Needless to say, I am going elsewhere later this week where I will pay for another hair cut and probably have to have it cut much shorter to remedy what New Age Salon did.

This is a nice place for a 'regular' haircut. They do an especially nice job with children's hair and men's hair. I take my daughter there all the time. They do a great job with both Asian hair and caucasian hair. The place is usually pretty full so you may have to wait a bit, but the price is great. Our favorite hair stylist is Jun. They are very nice people, too.

they rush when there's alot of customers. The hairstyle sometimes doesn't come out as how you would expect it. Make sure to go when there aren't taht many people in line, or they will spent 5 mins max on ur hair and move on.I woulldn't reccomend it...

I recently dyed my hair red. I was skeptical at first because the dye did burn my skin a little but the end result was amazing. It was honestly comparable to other dye jobs I've gotten at other Asian salons that cost $100 except the price was about half the cost! It helps to bring a picture of the color or haircut style. The stylists there definitely know how to cut Asian hair!!!

I checked this place out bc I saw an ad that said it had a private room for 'Hijabi's...BUT there's NO private room. It's like a shower curtain....and when they go to wash ur hair, they like tape up an apron on the door and say 'its ok its ok just 5 minutes'.... but that's not why I gave them a poor rating--- the stylist was SO bad, I cried all the way home! She didn't layer my hair like I asked-- she thinned it. I asked for brown highlights, and they came out brassy-- and she said 'well it's good, now people can really see them'...they don't know how to cut/style/ color women's hair!!!
and the place is nasty and dirty-- hair is left in piles on the floor, and wet towels are left on a chair....omg don't go there!!!!!

New Age Salon is wonderful! It was my first time going there today and I was so impressed. They are SO kind and friendly to you and really make you feel comfortable. The prices are also great, and of course, the quality is excellent. I would recommend it to anyone!

They give the best haircuts in town. I have never found any other salon that can cut my hair as well as them. The price is affordable and the customer service is wonderful.

This salon is probably the cheapest salon in downtown Ann Arbor, though the quality is still just so so. The personnel there are super nice. Id recommend this place for regular haircuts. A down side of this salon is that they usually get so many customers that you have to wait for while to get you hair cut.

I like this hair salon. They person work there are wonderful. Their price is so great. They talk to you all the time, make you feel comfortable. Although sometime, there is high waiting line, but as long as you didn't go there after five, or during the weekend, it is not that bad. Their skill is good, specially for gentlemen. And they can cut your hair really quick. So, you don't have to sit there for a long time.
