(located next to Sears on Grand River) DO NOT expect them to right their wrong! I paid for my hair to be colored to hide the gray & had highlights. 2 days later my gray showed through, I hadn't even WASHED my hair. I returned to the salon to get my gray covered, & they colored all of my hair, covering the highlights. I was concerned & my stylist assured me they would come through after a couple of washes. THAT night I noticed my gray was not covered & called the next business day. My stylist blew me off & told the girl to tell me to come in Wednesday to see her boss. I got a run around, I was told I could have it done again BUT I would pay for product. I paid for something & got NOTHING, not to mention I TIPPED my stylist $10 each time I was in. To add insult to injury, my stylist said I NEVER said my gray hair was a concern. Not only is this stylist unprofessional, she lies. I called corporate, which unfortunately can't do anything except ask the owner to satisfy the customer. Over a week has lapsed & I have YET to hear from the owner, NOT even an apology. They're changing from Fantastic Sam's to a new name, doesn't change their poor service. $137 just thrown away! Buy a box, at least you get what you pay for!!

I read the above comment and was displaced...she obviously has never been to this sams location, as they dont even have tanning and nor have they ever! And as far as the other howell location in the Promenade they have tanning but dont use beds, so this woman was obviously confused and it is unappreciated by me a loyal customer to have her confusion make them look bad.

I went here to tan and found them to be not only unfriendly a tad on the unclean side. So much so that I cleaned my own bed off before using it because it looked filthy so if you are wanting to tan keep on looking. I would not recommend going here unless price really does matter but you can always find someone close to there prices.
