Mike did a great job of repairing my old receiver, fixing an intermittent popping as well as replacing some worn out parts. Now it sounds great & should last another 30-40 years. Thanks Mike.

Mike was able to recover some incredible memories from very brittle Super 8 film reels. The format worked with PCs and DVD players without issue, and were very high quality. I was struck with how attentive Mike was, his rapid turnaround and real integrity. If I ever need repairs, restoration, or any service Northern TV offers, they are assured my business.

My Mom's vacuum was on the fritz while I was visiting in Royal Oak -- we knew the belt was broken, but due to an odd configuration, we couldn't replace it ourselves. In addition, it just hadn't been working great -- not much suction. After taking it in to Mike, it works better than new. And for a VERY reasonable price! Don't hesitate to go there!

I bought a used vacuum from Northern TV, a vacuum belt, and am soon to have my vacuum repaired there. The current owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met. The prices are extremely reasonable and, as the other reviewer mentioned, it's a real "family" atmosphere. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking to buy or repair an appliance!

Northern TV is the only place I'll ever take another TV to for repair. They're fast and reasonably priced. He's also good for a joke or two.
He doesn't cut corners on repairs and will let you know if your unit is beyond economical repair.

I LOVE Northern TV! Mike is an old fashioned honest repairman! He will never steer you wrong on a repair or on a purchase of a new item.
Going into his store is like stepping back in time - a time of good people and good cheer when no one ripped you off.
I've had TVs, VCRs, camcorders and vacuums fixed by him. He's got the best price around and most important - THE FASTEST TURN AROUND TIME! On items that didn't need parts I had them back the next day! No waiting 1 - 4 weeks like other places around SE Michigan.
He's copied 35 mm slides & home videos for me and had them done in under a week.
He's also got the best price on vacuum bags and belts. There's no 300% markup in this store!
This place is like home. Even the old owner and old employees are in every morning at 9 am for their coffee clutch and to watch Kelly & Regis - newcomers like me are even welcome..
