VERY small place for bride & bridesmaids to get ready. It is a back room in one house that is literally 7x8 ft!
The caterer is AWFUL and you have no choice but to use her (The Village Caterer), she doesn't have she stuff organized, VERY HARD to get in touch with, details didn't get finalized till the week of the wedding although we spent months trying to get her to perform. Her hired help went home with trays of food for their own use. Appetizers were only served to some, parent's tables & wedding party never received them but we paid $5.50 a person anyways) again, her help was seen taking them for themselves in the kitchen after wedding. The tables weren't set up when we were scheduled to decorate so we had to do table cloths & skirting ourselves. Gift table was never skirted. Their presentation of the food buffet style was horrid disposable aluminum trays were used it was unprofessional. She promised a full refund because of the appetizers -then will not refund it. Crossroads Village will not help, forced us to use her and states it has nothing to do with them. Crossroads forced us to use who they have chosen to be the exclusive caterer and then will not help with dealing with the difficult woman in the months before & after the wedding. It was stressful and not at all the service described.
Lela (the caterer) was disrespectful, difficult, demanding and honestly just a disorganized businesswoman who does not keep her promises before during or after the wedding.

We usually go to the Halloween events at this place, and they do a really nice job. There is a haunted railroad for the kids, and trick or treating throughout Crossroads Village. The atmosphere is fun and family friendly. The train ride is fantastic and always a highlight of the trip.

I love Crossroads Village, especially during Christmas. They have Mr. and Mrs. Claus for you childern to see and you can walk around the village and watch people live life as they would have a long time ago. The food is good and the shops have nice gifts.

We go to Crossroads several times a year. First of all Halloween is a must. You can trick or treat, they have a parade and even a ghost train. All is all age appropriate and very fun.. Can be expensive tho- so dress up to save at least one dollar! The bag of candy is usually worth it tho because it is nice! Also, Harry Potter day is sponsored by the library is and so fun. We dress up and ride the train, where they play music from the movie- it is great!~

We had so much fun. The kids got to go trick-or-treating, we took a boatride and a train ride!! We had the most wonderful day!! Not too expensive either; although the food they offer could be better.... We WILL go back next fall!

PROS: Wonderful time
CONS: The food is pretty unappealing and unappetizing

This is a tourist attraction run by the county parks and recreation that caters to locals as well. Infact it is a local favorite. It is a village set in the 1800 complete with a working windmill, blacksmith shop, church and school, among other things. There is a bank and merchantile where you can actually buy things. The best part is the real working train that you can ride on. Can be kind of expensive but it really is a great family day. Beautiful and wel lit at christmas time.

My family and I went there last weekend for their Holloween event. I will never go again. It cost $35 for my wife and I and 2 kids. They had trick or treating at 20 locations and they gave out one piece of candy. They had the town decorated, but you could hardly see it because of all the peopl standing around. The train ride was nothing special either. They used to have alot more decorations along the ride than what they do now. Save your money and go elseware!

Our family visited Crossroads village this summer for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised. The admisssion prices were a bit more than I expected but we had a great time. The kids loved it and want to go back.

Huckleberry Railroad is located in Crossroad Village. This is a neet place to visit. Every age group can enjoy the village. They have old buildings and shops. A couple of years ago I attented a wedding at the small church there and the reception was at the hall right there, it was so nice and quaint.

If you love Greenfield Village you will be sure to love Crossroads Village. They feature 34 historical buildings, mosty from Michigan which include homes, a chuch, a downtown block, a cider mill, ice house, hotel, cabin, blacksmith and a barn. You will also find a railroad that runs through the village. They host many special events throughout the year. I would highly reccomend going at Christmas time, it is most enjoyable. They also feature a wonderful theater. You can't go wrong visiting here.

We have taken the Kids to Crossroads Village for years. They have loved it. At Christmas they decorate everything with lights. It is just beautiful. Their favorite time to go though, is at Halloween. They do a ton of decorating and you go trick or treating at each building. They do different things inside the buildings too. There is a train that you can go on and you see a lot of halloween decorations on the train ride also. I would highly recommend this place. It is very fun.

This is a neet place to visit. They have alot of old buildings. We like to go there at Holloween time and go trick or treating at all the stores. They also have a train you can ride. They decorate outside the whole train ride, so you have stuff to look at.
