I thoroughly enjoyed the enthusiasm and knowledge of my service advisor, Jeff Schutt. Jeff was a professional from the time I dropped off my car, to updates about my vehicle, and when I picked my vehicle. Top Notch service!

We had gone looking for a used Grand Prix, found the one we wanted put $100 on it to hold it and set the day that we would be back to pick it up. It was only supposed to take a couple of weeks for us to get the money. As it ended up, we were not able to get our money until almost two months after the date that we had promised. But, as long as we stayed in contact with our salesman they continued to hold our car for us. So very pleased with there willingness to make the sale and the quality of the car that they sold us.

My son bought a Grand Am there last December. He still owes $6000 on the car, has put about $1500 in it and it only starts sometimes. My mechanic who has 40 yrs experience does not know how to fix it. It has something to do with anti theft device. We would be grateful for someone to steal it, if they could start it. He has a job and a baby and this being stranded constantly may lose him both. He has no more money to put into it. He couldn't afford the warranty. I don't know what to do as the car is in my name because of his credit problems. I guess if I can get it started I will try to foist it off at a loss, which I can ill afford as I am retired.

i bought a 2006 chevy cobalt from Sundance about 6 weeks ago. The car had only 19000 miles on it, and it seemed to be at a reasonable price, at $7200. I found it on autotrader.com at this price. I called to get the details, and spoke with a salesman who told me that it was a stick shift with leather seats, power everything, and a sunroof. I asked if there was anything wrong with the car, and he said no. I asked if I could put a hold on it until I could come look at it, and he said that he would have to go out on the lot and find it to be sure it wasn't already being held.
About an hour and a half later, he called and said that he found it, but it had just come in and had not yet been inspected or detailed, and I could have it held, but it would not be ready to look at for a day or two.
While waiting for him to call back the next day, I pulled up the autotrader ad to show a friend, and it showed $9900. I called the salesman to ask what was going on, and he said that it had been mispriced in the ad, but they could not change the price on me. He said we could come look at it the next morning, so we did.
When we arrived, he showed us the car, and it was the same car we had discussed, but we were mislead about the options. It had no options except CD player and a spoiler. We decided after test driving it that it was still a good deal, and decided to buy it. We did not buy the warranty they offered, as it was an extra $1500.
On arriving home, I noticed that the car would need new tires, as it had 4 different tires on it, 2 bald and 2 with sidewall damage. The fuse box cover was missing, and there were no floor mats. The oil had just been changed, but became dirty soon after. Now, the struts are bad and something is going on with the transmission. It also has a bad rattle under the hood. These are not issues that develop in 6 weeks, and the dealership is not standing behind any of it, even though we were charged nearly $400 extra for the dealerships inspection. I will never return to this dealership. They are crooks looking to take a young kid for a ride and make a quick buck. Look elsewhere for your vehicles.

We went to Sundance as a last place dealer to help our 18 year old daughter purchase a car. All the other dealers we tried simply didn't have a car in the price range we wanted to be in. Oh, most were willing to check the autions for us and get back to us, but we needed the car now, not later.
Sundance was able put her into a car that was newer, clean and low miles for exactly the price we were willing to spend on it. I do mean exactly, not a penny more then we were willing to spend.
It turned out to be a very pleasant experience.
Our salesman
Dan "LO" was very tenative and not pushy. He didn't fit the " Used car salesman" description at all. I would recommend him highly!

I had a great experience buying my first (although used) car. I am a graduate student with a limited budget and not once did they try to sell me, or pressure me, to buy something outside of my budget. I didn't feel any sort of pressure and felt very comfortable doing business with them. This was my first car buying experience and I have to say that they really worked hard for me and my budget. The selection is great there and I ended up with a great vehicle for my needs. I worked with Lupe specifically and he was very honest about the cars we looked at and made some really great recommendations to me. Overall, I'm very happy!

I would say that my experince with Sundance in Grand Ledge was a good one. I worked with Shone Six. I have to confess I can a little demanding at times. Shone was wonderful. He worked extremely hard for me to get into a new car. I would ablsolutley go back. I left with a car that I am very happy with. Nick also was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them to someone else. I admit that I have heard some bad things about sundance. BUT MY experince was anything but bad.

We have purchased two trucks from Sundance. I DO NOT enjoy shopping for vehicles. I just wish that shopping for a car was like going to the grocery store. The price tag is $1.99 and that is what you pay. Wheelin' and Dealin' is not for me. Our salesman, Jim Verhougstraete made the experience as nice as buying a car can be. We bought our first truck from him and we returned to Sundance because of Jim.

I have to say that I have heard some bad things about Sundance Chevrolet, but they have proved all those rumors wrong!!! I have purchased 2 cars from them and have been very satisfied. I just purchased a 2010 Chevy Malibu from Tommy Liles and I am in love with it!! They didn't have the exact car I wanted, but they were able to get it from another dealer and it is everything I wanted! So the next time anyone is looking for a new car, I will surely tell them to go to Sundance Chevrolet and to see Tommy Liles!!

I recently needed to buy my car out from the lease. I went into the dealership and felt very welcome. I was helped by Lee Lickfelt and he made it seem like the easiest process in the world. I would definitely recommend Mr. Lickfelt and will go to him for my next car purchase.

I have bought 3 vehicles from Sundance Chevrolet in the last 13 years and have never had a problem with anyone of them the last car I just recently purchased, a 2007 Ford Taurus is probably the reason why more people should shop at Sundance. I went in there with a credit score that was not good but Troy Andrews didn't turn me away instead he found a bank who would play ball with me and help rebuild my credit and three days after I walked in I drove away in a car. That's dedication and a true loyal and honest salsemen thanx Troy and God bless.

I bought a used car for my daughter and was so pleased with the dealership that I returned a year later to get a new Impala for me. Sundance has the biggest inventory around. I had some problem with the trim on my car but was very pleased with the way that was handled, just showed my salesman and new trim was ordered and put on at my convenience. Both the salesman and service manager that I dealt with were very professional and I recommend that anyone looking for a new or used car check with Sundance first.

I am not so sure what all the fuss is about Sundance. I just bought a 2007 pre-owned car and I had no problems at all. They had the car I wanted and we worked out a price that would work for me. The whole process of taking it for a drive and working out a price took only an hour to complete. I came back the following morning and signed all the paperwork and took my car home. Job well done as far as I am concerned. Thank you Sundance

I just recently bought a 2003 Honda S2000 and cannot say enough about this awesome dealership. After finding the car on Cars.com, I called about it and was told over the phone the exact condition that it was in. I placed a deposit down over the phone, and was emailed a receipt in about 20 minutes
About a week later, I flew into Lansing Airport from Philadelphia and was picked up at the airport. After getting to the dealership (which isn't the prettiest thing ever, but who cares when the price is right?) I was greeted by Joe Hanks, and the car was waiting for me gassed up and ready to go. I took the car out for a drive, and fell in love with it right away. After going back in to the dealership, I asked Joe if I could get the car on a hoist to check it out underneath it. He made it happen, and wasn't offended or put off by the request. While we were waiting for it, we went back to the computer and filled out paper work, and he gave me a autocheck.com report on the car that he printed right in front of me.
Since this was my first car being bought from a dealer, I wasn't sure about alot of financing terms and conditions, and Joe was more then accommodating, never appearing to be put off by my dumb questions or annoyed I was asking such basic questions.
After we had come up with a financing package and going over the numbers again, Joe wasn't pushy when I told him I wanted to think about it for a couple of days. Never once was Joe upset, he quickly said sure no problem, and we came up with 3 days to make up my mind, and to try to see if I could get a better financing package. Just before I was going to get a ride back to the dealership, Joe recommended that I take the car for another ride, and we went back out for a pretty long time (25 mins). I fell totally in love with the car at that point and never once did Joe ever seem pushy. At that point I had to get back to the airport to catch my flight, and Joe tried to find someone to give me a ride back to the airport. However, no one was around, so Joe stepped up and offered to drive me himself, again in the S2000 I was looking to buy.
Never once did I feel any pressure, and they even offered to drive me all the way to Detroit, which is about an hour and half away. Leaving the dealership, I was never pressured to buy anything, never felt as if I had to do anything I didn't want too, and was treated with respect.
After reading some reviews on google, I was very nervous to buy a car from Sundance, however, most of the reviews were wrong. Yes the dealership is huge, sometimes it takes a long time to find a car. Yes it's not the prettiest building ever, and yes there are problems. However, overall the dealership was far superior to anything else. The prices are much lower, the people working there are great, and it was a totally painless process. Whenever I'm in the marking for any kind of car, the first place I will look will be Sundance.

This review is partially directed to Musiqchika! After reading all the, mostly negative reviews and then reading Musiqchika's review and having my own story to tell this is what I think of Sundance!!!! I was referred to salesman Mark Korn by my best friend and her mom. My friend is 27 years old and has been buying cars from Sundance ever since she got her driver's license. Her mom has purchased more than a dozen cars and trucks from them also. I assumed that because they are such good customers, I could call this salesman and be treated with honesty and respect! Boy was I wrong! My first issue with them is the "loss" of a vehicle they have advertised on their website. I was in the market for a 4x4 SUV and found a 2005 Trailblazer Limited. It had heated leather seats, sunroof, 4x4 - all the bells and whistles. I call Mark and tell him about this good find. He says he is going to find out what is going on with this truck, make sure they still have it and call me back. he calls me back and says they can't find it. They couldn't find this truck for days! After days and days of not getting an updated information from my salesman, who would tell me he would call me back and never would, I called the sales manager. I explained to him the situation and he said he would look into it and call me back. he called me back 10 miutes later and said that Mark would be calling me ASAP. And he did. His exact words: "when my manager jumps in my s#$% and says I am not calling a customer back when I know I have spoken to you, well that pi$$es me off". I was boiling mad! Needless to see we went back and forth for a few minutes until he appologized to me! he then proceeded to tell me that they found the vehicle but the service engine light is on and they are having the service dept. look it over. The next day he tells me that the engine blew an intake gasket but it wasnt' that big of deal to fix. Okay, then the next day it turns out it was a blown headgasket and they need to replace the motor. But they did not lower the price!!!! The truck had 85k miles on it and the "new" motor was to have 50k miles on it! Would you buy a truck for $10k with a rebuilt motor in it? I sure as he!! didn't want to. So I looked on their website for something else. I found a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 68k miles for 9,275. thought this was a great deal. I called he said they had it but they had put the price too low but b/c that is what they originally had it advertised at, they have to sell it to me at that price. However, there is some obvious brake work that needs to be done but b/c they are not making a profit on this vehicle (at their own fault) they will not fix it for me! I am so disappointed and pissed off at this dealership I can't even think straight! I was in a bad position and needed a vehicle ASAP and they did drive a vehicle up here for me to drive while I looked for something to purchase - that is the only good thing! Other than that, the saleman SUCKED and the way in which this company does business is pathetic! So glad that Musiqchika had a good experience b/c mine sucked and I will NEVER go there again and I am telling everyone I know to avoid these people. My friend who has been a customer for years will NEVER go there either!

This dealership is horrible. I looked at cars similar to the one I was interested in at Sundance at other dealerships, but chose Sundance b/c of the lower mileage and price for the vehicle. Boy was I wrong! Do not buy from here, or take the car to a very qualified mechanic before purchasing. I did not notice some problems with the car b/c I am not experienced in that area. Then, the brakes started making noses. So, I took it into a mechanic I trust. When I found out that the car needed new front brakes (they were metal on metal), new inner tie rod, alignment, and 4 brand new tires before I've even had it long enough to get it's first oil change, you can imagine my disappointment. Upon calling Sundance they sounded like they would help. They said they would assist me with the costs as much as possible. I took it into the service dept. to have it looked at. After 5 hours they called me to tell me what I already knew was wrong with the vehicle and told me that the used car department was not going to pay for anything.

My advice, stay away. I strongly encourage Bud Kouts who have certified used vehicles. They had a vehicle similar to the one I bought at Sundance for sale and I wish I would've bought from them. Sundance is horrible. I'm just trying to spread the word so less people get burned.
