My children and i enjoyed our experience at the zoo. Considering the devasting fire and loss of animals they had not so long ago, ithink they are trying very hard to get it back together. As far as the comment about the dirty animals, animals often roll around in the dirt to scratch. Have these people never owned an exotic pet? I thought it was a fine learning experience and would go again.

i love natures creek. they have worked hard to rebuild after recent devastation. they have an awesome drive-thru part to the zoo. although it is in a backyard, it is a huge yard. its beautiful for the animals and visitors. the animals couldn't ask for better people to care for them. they take them in their house if they are sick or if they are babies. even if it starts getting cold. not many people i know would take wild animals into their home to care for them. they specialize in groups of school children. many schools go there for field trips. many of their animals have been born and raised on the property. it is a great experience for families. they offer a snack bar with drinks and something to munch on. you have the option of hand feeding animals. thats pretty awesome. the animals had fresh water and i watched them feed them while i was there. i asked many questions while i was there and the people running it were more than willing to answer any of my questions. they were extremely friendly. i loved it and recommend it to anyone wanting to spend a relaxing day with their family.

I was with a group of young children touring this so called "petting zoo" and a small boy was scratched several times by a lemur. The animal grabbed his small arm and actually pulled it into the cage. There was no first aid kit on site and no records of recent animal vaccinations. The wound was so deep the boy was taken to the hospital and the owners said they would take responsibility for the medical bills but have yet to do so. This facility is dirty and unsafe for adults and children.

I have taken my children to Nature's Creek a few times, and we always have a great time! My daughter loves feeding carrots to the animals and getting "up close". The animals have always seemed friendly and happy although their quarters may be a bit small some of the time. The staff is friendly and likes to give info about the animals and will even take animals out of their cages for a closer look. We have enjoyed each visit!

This is someones back-yard with animal caged in garage. The aniamls were all packed-together having inadequate space to move let alone exercise. The air quality is bad and all animals are exposed to the screaming parrots. The animals must be thinking "What did I do to deserve being here?"

PROS: none
CONS: that it exists!

I was not happy at all about my visit to Natures Creek Petting Zoo.

The animals seemed dirty and unfriendly. It did not look to me as if they were being well cared for. I do not think that this place should remain open, nor would I give any money to go there.

The people who run this should be ashamed of themselves, do yourself a favor, STEER CLEAR! GO to the TOledo zoo where animals are happy and healthy.

If you are looking for ad ecent place to take your family and children to spend the day, Please please PLEASE don't visit Natures Creek. I did not enjoy the visit we made there. The animals seemed dirty and not very well kept for. The staff's attitudes were poor, and it was a very low class version of a petting zoo. This place gets an F

Fly-by-night "zoo" erected in someone's back yard.
Animals covered in sores, feces, and tumors.
The water they had was dirty, food was nowhere in sight, and the 12 year olds working the front counter more interested in chatting than feeding or cleaning the animals.
"concession stand" was a shack with a refrigerator and microwave.
Reported to animal control, and BBB.

STAY AWAY!!!!!

PROS: none
CONS: all - should be shut down, and owners thrown in Jail
