Turning Pointe

I feel that I can be objective as my daughter has danced at the TP for 8 years and also at 3 other studios in southeast michigan. This studio is phenomenal. They offer a lot of classes on different days and times. They have competition teams if that is your goal. There is always someone at the desk and the phones are always answered. Kelly (the owner) knows the names of the dancers,and I find her very approachable and reasonable. Hats off, Kelly!! My daughter is so happy!!

Most of the teachers are wonderful, especially Ms. Nina, Ms. Anne, and Ms. Toni. My daughters attended this studio for 4 years. However, for the younger crowd (3 - 7 years old), the recital is OVER the top. It is well over 3.5 hours long each time and most of them are at 7 pm at night. That is quite a long night for the little ones.

The teachers are fantastic most of which are professional dancers themselves. The classes are fun for the kids as well as disciplined. My daughter has improved tremendously since joining this studio. I cannot say enough about it. Their recitals are so popular that they have to put on 5 shows to accommodate all the ticket sales - very professional production.

PROS: Excellent staff, plenty of parking, beautiful studio. Top notch!
CONS: None at all.

My oldest attended ballet classes there with Ms. Anne, who is a wonderful teacher! This studio teaches yoga, ballet, jazz, tap, many things. Has hours to accomodate almost anyone! Very well known and respected. Their recitals are very well known, and are quite the production. Tuition was due montly, but not sure if that has changed. Plenty of parking in the back of the studio, too.
