I have nothing bad to say about Lake Pointe Village, I've heard good and bad from other people around town, but I lived in a two bedroom two bath apartment adorned with a wonderful fireplace and balcony for a year and had no problems.

I also know a good friend who's lived their for nine years with no problems. And I also know there was never any reason to have problems, either. They had a nice gym room, clubhouse, and outdoor pool- a quiet neighborhood, and probably the best thing about it was it was right in the middle of Traverse City, and mere minutes from the local library and downtown. But it looked secluded. When you drove into the apartments, trees were everywhere and it certainly didn't feel like I was in the center of the city.

Maybe two things went wrong when I lived there, and it was an issue with our circuitry, which they fixed right away.

I would definitely recommend Lake Pointe, though it's a little on the higher end in pricing, it was completely worth it for me.
