Over the past few years, I have been to the Palace of Auburn Hills on many different occasions ranging from basketball games to concert to the circus. I have no complaints whatsoever about the staff who work there and the services they provide. Everyone from the ushers to the ticket scanners to the people working concession are all very courteous and helpful, making each visit a delight.

The Palace is where i first saw Phish play in 1996. Was the first time i've ever been to a really large venue like that and i enjoyed every aspect of it. It is very clean and layed out very well on the inside. There really isn't a bad seat in the entire place. Plenty of restrooms and vending locations to buy overpriced drinks and snacks.

The only thing that could use a little improvement is the flow of traffic leaveing after an event, but it's far better there than other venues i've been to. Takes a while to get 25000 people and their cars through a 3 lane drive.

It doesn't matter what you see here, or even where you sit, the seats are angled just enough so that the person in front of you will not distract your view. I've seen concerts and games from very close to way in the last row in the back, and I can say that it has been good all around. The only bad thing is parking, it is so expensive, but there is no where else to park for miles-so you are stuck paying what ever they happen to charge that day. The bathrooms are always crowded (especially the Ladies rooms), so it is very nice of them to have a family room--which is never crowded. They have an usher right outside of the door to make sure that people going in, have little ones.

The Palace is the place to go for championship basketball with the Detroit Pistons. The Palace has events all year round with large concerts coming to town during the off season as well. I have gone to a game before and it is an awesome experience. The Palace is huge...but you have a great view of the game wherever you sit. If you go with a group you can get a great rate on tickets as well...we even got free Pistons visors when our group went. It's alot of fun and experience that everyone should have at least once.

This venue is an amazing facility to attend. Not a bad seat in the whole building. Its main drawback is the location. Its really far north from Detroit so its a haul for most people. Located off I-75 which tends to be heavily congested with traffic as well. Its great times once you get there but it may take a while so leave yourself plenty of time to get there in time for performance.

PROS: clean, great shows
CONS: location, high traffic area

Wonderful home of the detroit pistons and many other events that come yearly. Great parking, nice seats, great suites and an enjoyable atomosphere. Great vending as well. Lots of stairs to get in though.

This is a great place to see concerts. The seating is never bad no matter where you are located. Parking is not horrible and you will be sure to enjoy any show you are here to see. We have seen concerts and childrens shows as well as sports. The staff also does an excellent job of letting everyone enjoy themselves without taking it too far.

I enjoy the atmosphere of this arena . The seating could be a little more spacious, but it is an altogether good concert venue. The parking is very close to the arena, and is very plentiful. The acoustics are first rate and set at the perfect volume. The prices of tickets are comprable with other similar spots.

PROS: Good acoustics and comprable ticket prices
CONS: Less than spacious seating

We Detroiters are lucky to have an awesome basketball team like the Pistons, and an awesome arena like the Palace. Lots of good seats. friendly emplyees, clean bathrooms, and decent though expensive food. Not a bad place to catch a concert, eitherl.
