Godwin Hardware & Plumbing

I wish I could write a positive review for Godwin Plumbing. My 84 year old dad purchased over $400 in merchandise to prepare his home for my mom coming home under hospice. She passed away before he had a chance to put some of the items in. With all he had on his mind, he couldn't find his receipt but wanted to return $55 in merchandise. They would not refund him in $$, but instead insisted that he have in-store credit which he had no use for. Even after hearing the circumstances, Doug gave my dad about 10 seconds of insensitivity. (Doug called it "matter of fact"). I would NEVER do business with a company with no heart and would never recommend them to anyone. I wish the owner would contact me.
I HAVE SPOKEN WITH ONE OF OWNERS (TIM). MY EXPERIENCE WITH TIM IS COMPLETELY OPPOSITE OF MY DAD'S EXPERIENCE WITH DOUG. THIS TRULY IS A COMPANY WITH HEART AND TIM HAS GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND TO TREAT MY DAD WITH THE DIGNITY AND TENDERNESS HE DESERVES. THANK YOU TIM FOR TAKING THE TIME TO CARE.

When you walked into Godwin Plumbing, you feel like you are walking into the small town plumbing store. The offer wonderful customer service and have a very knowledgeable staff. Their prices are very reasonably priced. I often go there to buy my Seven's paint, the guys in the painting department are always extremely friendly making sure I always get the right type and color paint. I've never encountered a single employee who isn't smiling or willing to help.

The staff here knows everything there is about plumbing. They where able to help me with a plumbing problem with an older home that needed some TLC in the bathroom. They also had the most modern fixtures available for the remodel job that happened in a different home. Their prices are right and offer a discount if bulk is purchased

PROS: answer all questions
CONS: always seem to have people at the counter

the guys at the plumbing counter know there stuff, you can bring them any kind of plumbing problem and they will help you. If they don't have what you need, they'll order it! Any piece or part you could possibly want is there. Far better than Home depot or lowes.

If you want to talk to people who KNOW what they are talking about AND be able to get Any part you might be looking for..this is the place to go. The ONLY place for plumbing supplies.
