Eastern Accents is a nice quiet place for a cup of tea. I went there with a gorp of friends. There was plenty of seating. The selection of teas was large. The pastries were yummy.

Recommended: bi bim bop, the egg bun and the bacon and onion bun, the red bean bun or a mango pudding for dessert. Ask for tea, not coffee. Say hi to Carol and Ben.

The restaurant has good light and a flexible layout and it's easy to move tables around to accomodate parties of 2 to 32.

I meet with a group there every Thursday for lunch, you're invited.

As the name suggests, Eastern Accents is an Asian inspired cafe. The owner is from China and Eastern Accents serves an array of baked goods (like red bean buns) that I generally only see in Chinatowns. For lunch, try the bi bim bop -- with meat or vegetarian. For dessert, try a slice of the light fluffy cake topped with fresh fruit. The atmosphere here is also nice for reading or studying if you just want to go and sip a cup of coffee or tea.

It's a cute little bakery. The set up is more like a cafe than your typical bakery. We had some bbq pork buns...they were ok. I think the place has better coffe. I wish we would have tried some of their cakes or egg tarts..they looked really good.
