On December 27th 2014 my family & I took my daughter out for her 12th birthday for lunch, we were seated very quickly. However, our waitress (SHARON) was EXTREMELY unfriendly, she appeared to have had an attitude, very dry in responses.

We go to TGIF for lunch all of the time, we are seated quickly and service is pretty good. Everyone very friendly, responds quickly to requests. The food is not bad either, in fact some of the new items on the menu are really quite tasty.
I in particuliar like their pecan crusted chicken salad.

This restaurant has recently been renovated. It was okay before, but now it is quite a nice establishment. It is located right near the Town Center buildings in Southfield, but they tend to not seat people for lunch as they are waiting for a "rush". No, it does not make sense, but that is what they told us. Good food, as always, but try to go for dinner instead of lunch.

PROS: Location
CONS: Do not cater to the lunch crowd

Message from TGI Fridays

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Southfield, MI is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.
