Reviews for Five Star Lanes

Ratings_icons Great Customer Service

Zak I.

The customer service at this establishment is superb. The games tend to be expensive in the busy times of the day. On the off times the prices are rather cheap. I have never had a problem with a lane that caused me too have to change lanes. Although the games are occassionally expensive I still pay, because of the condition of the lanes. The lanes at Five Star are the best around. Overall this place is a great place for you to take your family for a good night of fun.

PROS: Great Customer Service and Superb Lane Conditions
CONS: Expensive occassionally, but would pay for the quality of the lanes

Ratings_icons Friendly service, okay lanes

I've been on a ladies morning league here off and on for several years. The staff at this bowling alley are super friendly and very helpful.

The lanes, however, have been acting up pretty badly lately, with the automatic scorers not scoring properly and the pins not being reset properly.

This alley has a small cafeteria, and they provide free toast and doughnuts to the ladies league. There is also a babysitting service available for the morning leagues that the alley subsidizes.

There is also a games room with pool tables and video games, and lots of machines where you get little candy or plastic toys for a quarter. My son's favorite is one that looks like a pinball machine but you win the ball.

We have been to several kids' birthday parties here, and they have been great, with the staff setting things up and everything going smoothly with getting kids shoes and balls.

PROS: Good staff, lots to do
CONS: Lanes aren't the best

Ratings_icons Expensive Bowling Alley

The bowling alley itself is a pretty nice facility. However, I have not bowled there in over a year because of their outrageous prices. I am talking like $3.50 per game. I would suggest pricing out other local lanes before going here.

I have bowled at Five Star Lanes a few times. It is the closest bowling alley near my parents house so we use to go there alot as I was a kid. Each time has been a pleasant one.
Recently my husband and I attended a kids birthday party here. It was a great time.
The people are friendly and the lanes are great.
I did feel that they were on the pricey side.
