My son began attending Learning Tree this past summer after he became too much for his grandparents. The staff was so friendly and helpful and moved quickly to arrange a meeting and tour. Once my son adjusted to the new environment, he began to excel in every aspect of his development. Now, when I drop him off he points at the door and tries to run yelling excitedly "SCHOOL! SCHOOL!" Its gotten to the point that every time we get in the car (no matter where we're going) he says "school?" It is expensive but the outcome is priceless! We did tour other facilities some chain and some privately owned. The privately owned facility was much cheaper however, it seemed outdated with rusted tricycles and what appeared to be sun bleached second hand toys. The Chains we visited were more expensive and not as clean. The staff was the biggest difference. The Learning Tree staff are all well spoken, educated (certified) and caring individuals. I would highly recommend this preschool to anyone.

here is our story. we had our child at a chain daycare that is well known, when they were an infant that chain daycare was not feeding her. we would come to pick her up to see 3.5 out of 4 bottles left and a half a jar of number one baby food. i am sorry, i think more food could have been given. we removed our child from that center.and that center is now closed down, we proceeded to another CHAIN daycare, however this one had great reviews. lets just say, this daycare allowed my child to be bitten almost everyday, they too are now closed.
We then take a tour of the leaning tree. TALK ABOUT ORGANIZED!!! i am VERY anal when it comes to the schools being clean, policies and follow through. FROM day one, my child enjoyed going and still does when they can. there was no more crying, no more of the holding of the leg. they came home excited to talk about their day. my child in PRESCHOOL - learned adding, subtraction, and started on multiplication. they started reading, doing geography and science. YES, the price of the school was high, but the price was well worth it. they incorporated so much with the cost, parties, trips, before and afterschool care, SECURITY SYSTEMS!!, breakfast, snacks, lunch - they even EVERY year brought in a REAL reindeer for the kids to see and touch and even though it was a christmas party for them, they made it a learning activity and the kids enjoyed every minute.
i am sorry that you had a bad experience, but i can tell you what, when the economy hit close to home, they made it so that my child could still come once in a while. she was no longer fulltime, but they kept her active so that I could bring her when i could. the staff when i had something major that had to be done to me, they helped to console my child and keep her busy so that she did not worry. I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT THEY HAVE DONE FOR OUR FAMILY. I tell everyone i can about their school. i only which they would have higher classes, like through 2nd grade because i would send my child back there in a minute and currently thinking about it for the kinder. class.
I would recommend giving them another chance. if you dont believe me, then dont, but i personally feel that not giving them a chance was a wrong move. Just think, when there are kids on a waiting list for them to come there and they now have 4 centers, they must be doing something right.

OKAY... whatever this Lady is saying above is totally crap!! The Learning Tree South is amazing. They take great care of my infant and I love all of her teachers and the other staff there. Yes it is a tad pricey but it is 100% WORTH THE MONEY. This lady must be confused with a different center because the Learning Tree South is so organized and helpful to us and all fo the other families that I have talked to!!!! So that other lady is wacked out

Initially, my husband and I toured the center and planned to send our son there. Three weeks before he was scheduled to begin, my husband called the director to let her know we wanted to come in and meet his teacher (let's call her "Barb" to remain anonymous. She was on vacation when we initially toured the facility). She said for us to come the week before he began to get acquainted with his teacher and drop off his things. Two weeks before, I called the director to make an appointment with her to go over the paper work, get key systems and finally meet his teacher, "Barb". She scheduled an appointment the following week. When we showed up the following week at our scheduled time, the director wasn't there! The assistant director had no idea we were coming. We told her we wanted to meet his teacher and she said that "Barb" left the center a month prior! We were so confused why the director didn't tell us on the previous two phone calls that "Barb" left and we'd be meeting a different teacher! We constantly asked for his teacher by name and would have appreciated knowing she was no longer employed. We wouldn't have been so upset about a new teacher if we were properly informed about the old one leaving and told of the new teacher's credentials. We felt like she purposed tried to keep it a secret for some odd reason. We asked the assistant director about the new teacher's qualifications and she said, "I don't know." In fact, every question we asked the assistant direct, we received an answer of "I don't know." We went to his room to meet his teacher and she was relatively new to the center. She wasn't aware of the answers to any of our questions either. The asst. director was supposed to get us the infant coordinator to speak with, but she never showed either. We left the center completely appalled and upset. Who would want to leave their child in a place that was so unorganized and had a complete and total lack of communication? We drove to several other centers after leaving and found one that was more responsive and organized.
