Florentine Grandville

I just moved in to Grandville and saw this Giant, Las Vegas like sign for a restaurant called "Florentines".
I thought I would stop for a bite to eat, and check the place out. Wow, what a surprise! The food was sooo good and I had very prompt and attentive service. I have been back a number of times now, and I have not had a meal either at lunch or dinner that was not excellent. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic service every time I go in. Very homely atmosphere and top notch food. I've had something from every section on the menu and the only 'not so great' food I had was the hot wings that were just a little too greasy for my taste.

I highly recommend the garlic bread, pizza (the home made sauce is simply fantastic) and the Manicotti.

Pros: Home-made sauces and pasta

Cons: Greasy hot wings

The building is in a state of disrepair. Our food was aweful. My pasta had a strange metallic (yes, metallic) taste to it. Service was slow. It's one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had.

Pros: We had a coupon

Cons: Bad food/service/decor
