Bordine Nursery

I love Bordine's for their selection of all types of plants. Also, the staff really know their stuff. And if you catch a "perennial" person and ask a question about trees, they will get a "tree" person for you. My only beef is that they only have a one year warranty and they don't go the extra mile when making an exchange. We had trouble exchanging a bad tree because they thought we overwatered it. However, it is a tree that is supposed to love wet conditions. They prorated a discount for us, but I felt it wasn't our fault about the tree- we planted as directed. Som if you don't care about warranties and need some expert advice, you would be pleased with Bordine's

Bordine Nursery is located in Clarkston, on Dixie Highway, just north of I-75. This is one of four locations in Southeast Michigan. The others are in Grand Blanc, Rochester, and Brighton.

Bordine's has an incredible selection of plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as all of your other landscaping needs. The staff (easy to see, as they are all dressed in purple shirts) is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They know everything there is to know about each specimen that they carry.

I have found that the Clarkston location of Bordine's Nursery to be a great source for healthy plants and good advise for the beginner gardener.

I've never had a problem getting a question answered, or finding someone to help me, or even to unload a cart full of topsoil at my car. I really wish that there was a Bordine's closer to me now because they carry a few of the harder-to-find varieties of which I've grown quite fond!
