I have been going to Fresh Season's since it opened years ago as Coleman's. Actually, you'll still hear it called Coleman's by locals even though it hasn't been named that for probably 5 years.

In any case, a great small grocery store to stop by for your gourmet staples. You aren't shopping here for boxed macaroni and cheese (though they probably have it). You're shopping here for a bottle of wine for dinner, or fresh artisan bread, or cheese for a party, or flowers for your spouse. The owner will often buy fresh produce from the downtown farmer's market and resell it here. Everything is good and top quality.

Besides groceries, they sell nice annuals and perennials. In the spring they also sell herbs and veggies. Around Thanksgiving they start selling Christmas trees.

Fresh Season's isn't cheap, but it's nearby and it's locally owned. Sadly their market is now being under cut by Plum Market. When I go home, I always stop in for old time's sake.
