Probably the best beer selection in Ann Arbor with tons of unique beers on tap. I always get the Lineman burger and stilton fries (waffle). It's a fun chill laid back place to grab some food and a couple beers--not a super crazy get drunk place. This is the spot to be during the Ann Arbor Art fair, they have a tent outside and serve food and drinks out there.

A very largeunique beer selection, and they have great drink special on some day, I think its buy one get one on the 22oz beers. The food is also good, granted I have only really had the appetizers before. They also open up early on St. Patty's and give out tshirts if your in line first, but you gotta get there at like 5 to actually get a shirt so needless to say I never got one. Often times an older element exists and not the most raucous for an on
ear campus bar, but if your looking for a really nice beer its the place to go.

The beer menu at Ashley's is incredible with descriptions of every beer they have (somewhere around 100). It's not cheap, but very good. Food is regular american bar fare, decently cooked, nothing special. Service is fine, once again, not any better or worse that other places in Ann Arbor. But like I said, this place wins because of their beer choices. Wait staff knows beers as well and can make recommendations like seasoned pros.

On tap at Ashley's are the most beers you'll find in Ann Arbor -- maybe even in all of Washtenaw County. Add to that a great selection of fine scotches, bourbons, a surprisingly good offering of tequilas, and you've got a haven for brew drinkers and shooters.

My friends and I make this a regular Wednesday night hang out. Weeknights are a better bet since this relatively small bar and restaurant gets pretty plugged up on the weekends. The food leaves a bit to be desired, but the basics (burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc.) and appetizers hit the spot. The servers are friendly and accommodating, but tend to get held up during busy periods. It's a casual, but lively atmosphere complete with a jukebox at your disposal and a foosball table downstairs (ideal for drunken, late-night tourneys).

Pros: Great beer selection, Casual atmosphere, Good location

Cons: Crowded, Smoky, Hit/miss parking
