There was a little misunderstanding regarding delivery date, although that could be partially my fault. Overall Im Pleased with the service.

A Professional Craftsman! Crooked walls and ceilings, floors, off angel overhangs etc. are made to look straight and true. He sometimes has to rely on his vast knowledge to make things workable and does so to make the job perfect. This was third room to be remodeled by him and having him as the carpenter was the deal maker. Kurtis is fortunate to have him on their team.

I ordered a new floor and countertop for the main bathroom, and a new granite countertop, ceramic tile backsplash, new sink, new faucet and garbage disposal for the kitchen near the end of April from Kurtis Kitchen and Bath in Livonia. While the original sale and design left something to be desired I can say that Tina, the manager of Kurtis in Livonia, handled my issues in a professional and courteous manner and made it all right with me including tossing in some extra tiling that the designer had missed on the original order. Its not easy to find a company that really understands customer service so working out the kinks with Tina and Kurtis went well because they get it.\n\nKim is the person who schedules the installations and she worked with me to coordinate the time I would have to take off of work including the fact that I was going to have a house full of overnight guests for a wedding a few weeks after I signed the contract to have the work done. Of course I wanted it done BEFORE my guests arrived, but was willing to wait until after that weekend because the time frame seemed a little short and I wanted to have a fully functioning bathroom and kitchen while they were here. Kim worked it out to have everything but the tile backsplash in the kitchen done in time for my guests to arrive, and while I was a little concerned about them actually making that time frame I told her to go for it and kept my fingers crossed. She said she had faith in her crews and I took her word for it.\n\nI can't say enough about George and his crews as they managed to not only get the whole job done in time for my guests arrival, including the backsplashes in the kitchen, but did a great job including working around a broken shut off water valve and a few of those something to be desired issues from the designer. They not only arrived on time, but went the extra mile giving the job a real personal touch. George called me on a couple of occasions to check on how things were going and he and Kim managed to get a plumber and the city out here to replace the broken valve within a few hours of them discovering the problem. They cleaned up before they left each time and I really couldn't tell that anyone had been here working at all.\n\nI had quotes from a couple of other places and Kurtis was a little more expensive but they also had a much larger stock of tile, sinks, faucets etc. than the other places and I was able to choose a specific slab of granite from a couple of warehouses that they work with instead of deciding which of the dozen or so choices that the other places offered. For me that little more expensive was worth it since I had those choices and the work was done by one contractor so I worked with just one company instead of having to having to keep track of multiple jobs. I would definitely use Kurtis Kitchen and Bath in Livonia again and will recommend them to my friends and coworkers.

My wife and I went to Kutis Kitchen because of the decent rating they had on BBB. So we made an appointment to come in and talk with a young sales guy about two baths we wanted remodeled. The sales guy(A.K.) was friendly enough and very eager to work with us. We met with the sales guy a couple of more times, he quoted us a price that was way too high about $28k for 2 small baths. I have done remodeling before myself and we are avid reviewers of the DIY home network channel, so we knew the price was too high. But we wanted the work done within a month. We figured we could do some of the work ourselves and cut some of the cost. So, we put a down payment of $1K(non-refundable), as a good faith deposit to continue going forward, FRIST mistake. That's when things went downhill fast. \n I figured if I am paying for a service I want to know exactly what I am paying for, so I told the young salesman to itemize the work and material for the project. We already picked out the fixtures(which was way too pricey, I found the same fixtures on the internet less then half the cost!) and we wanted a rough estimate on everything else, so I could do some of the work myself. Suddenly the friendly young salesman was not so friendly and NOT so eager to help us with our project. Week after week I would call or email this guy about getting this project done, it was like pulling teeth. About 3 months later and we knew this guy was wasting our time. He just wanted to meet his sale quota, the sales quota to sign us up for the $1000.00(which in the sales contact states, it is for the design work if you do not get any work done). \n \nBOTTOM LINE: Kitus Kitchen is a schema. It is way over priced for what you get. Our sales guy(A.K. watch out for this guy) was looking to fill his quota and sign us up. They are good for ideas and that is about it. If you are considering Kutis Kitchen and they are asking for a down payment, go the other way and run! You can get free design work at IKEA. If you had in the process of working with these guys get and itemized list of service before you PAYMENT anything! You will see your sales person come up with excuses and not so eager to help you with your project.

We are very satisfied with our kitchen remodel and LOVE the finished product. Both Bryan, our salesman, and Kim, the scheduler, went above and beyond to make sure our questions were answered and we understood the process.

Justin, \nYou did an outstanding job. Kurtis is lucky to have you. You are welcome to come over anytime to take pictures. We will be getting our counter stools tomorrow (Friday). Painting was completed, we have two chairs and an end table in the reception room. We still need wall decorations, a coffee table and window treatments

But the actual bottom line prices are high! I really had "sticker shock" when I saw how much it would be to do my kitchen, but I got great ideas here! And they did the layout on paper and gave it to me which was nice!
