The team that you have on this place is such a breathtaking bunch of people. I took my co workers in here for a late night dinner and they all did like the ambiance in here.

Lansing is about 60 miles away .... but any excuse to go is a chance to eat at Emil's. and that excuse might be I am hungry for .... Italian. I have only had one meal that I consider above a good rating. ... the rest have been excellent. I need to go to Lansing to say Hi to Paul (the owner) might as well eat there again.. Keep up the Super work. Chuck

Big disappointment. I went to Emil's last weekend for the first time in several years. My "salad" was literally a plate of iceberg lettuce with a small, thin slice of tomato on top. The whole thing was swimming in ranch dressing. Someone there doesn't know that lettuce is lettuce and salad, by definition, means roughly "lots of stuff in it." The bread seemed like it came from a loaf of white bread purchased from a grocery store. Carabba's has MUCH better bread than this. My dining companion and I both ordered the lasagna. Very small portion for $10 (smaller than a single-serving size Stouffer's lasagna), surrounded by tons of tomato sauce. I suspect all the sauce was there to disguise the puny portion of lasagna. Honestly, I've had much better Italian food at chain restaurant. If people think this stuff is excellent, they don't know what Italian food is.

Let me start by saying the food is some of the most authentic I have been able to find in Lansing. While growing up my grandparent woulds always cook Italian meals seeing how there parents were from Italy. Eating at Emil's brings back the memories of the meals that my grandparents would make. The price is alo extremely well and the atmosphere is awesome!

I love to go to emils two reasons, 1) the food is good 2) the look is perfect for a fun night out if you want to dress up with friends or family and go out to enjoy yourself.

Emils is one of my favorite resturant to visit, the atmosphere is friendly and family oriented. With a staff that is very profesional and willing to accomidate their customers, it's easy to return here. The food is delicious and is presented beautifully. One thing that is nice, is that they have specials every night on different entrees and a host of different desserts.

Emils offers a variety of things, but my favorite has to be their pizzas. They use a generous amount of cheese, and you get great value for what you pay for. Their desserts are great too! I didn't rate Emils higher because it can be VERY crowded at times, and even when it isn't space is limited. The staff is very kind and helpful.

These guys have the BEST alfredo sauce pizza I have ever tasted. They are locally owned and operated. The wait staff is always very courteous. The prices are reasonable and they have some very good daily specials. If you can, sit in the bar, there is a nice aquarium to gaze at while you eat.

PROS:
CONS: Can be cramped at times, space is limited especially in the bar.
