Murray's Discount Auto Stores

This store has recently been understaffed but very helpful. There was one woman cashier a while ago who was able to find what I needed, and the gentlemen have never made me feel small or stupid for not knowing about my vehicle or its maintenance. They also offer their advice freely and are fair about helping the first person in line first.

How can you work at a auto parts store and know nothing?? Unsure answers, blank stairs when there confused I moved my work to auto zone....But there not any better!!!

I walked in to the store and I was not greeted, when I went up to the cash register to ask to purchase 4 Autorama tickets I was sold 4 adult tickets. Not knowing what the prices were I paid the $15.00 per ticket. I walked out flabbergasted about the prices. I was told by my friend that were with me that children were $4.00 per ticket. When I went in and asked to get it adjusted the lady that was working there told me that I didn't ask for children tickets , then she got smart with me said she isn't a mind reader. I told her that there should have been a sign up like there is at the venue so that we can have the correct information. The sign was tucked away next to the register. That is the way to up-sell , and I still got screwed my youngest was 6yrs old and he was supposed to be free. I had to get my friend to go in there and buy the tickets because she wouldn't sell me the right ones after she gave me the money back. I went from $60 to $27 and it was supposed to be $23 because i saw the sign at the show that said children 6 under free!!! The female manager at this store is very rude, and know nothing about customer service. And I am convinced that she didn't have the sign up so that exactly what happened to me would happen to others so she could show more profit in the store.

Every time I walk in to buy detailing supplies, maintenance supplies, or anything actually I am never greeted and whatever associate that helps me is in such a crappy mood and always tries to speed up the transaction. Then when you get your part in your hands you have to wait in the long line to ring out. They never say thanks for coming in to Murrays or anything. Murrays should be glad customers like me put up with a retarded staff and support their company. Also I went there 3 times in 3 weeks and I saw that parts and supplies were not stocked back up and there was empty shelf space. Oh well.

No greeting. No help whatsoever. The two people behind the counter apparently are too busy doing whatever. The one staff person does wait on a gentleman, who then writes a check - the staff person is then on the telephone with telecheck forever. The aforementioned second staff person is busy chatting with someone else, not bothering to check out people in the line that continues to get longer and longer. I left. Do not shop there. Well, unless you are a GUY writing a bad check.

I find this place to be a very good source for things you may need-like a new battery when your car is dead. My husband managed to go get the battery install it and get my car up and running quickly. They will also change the air-filter and put new wipers on you car if you purchase them at Murrays. I also have found the guys who work there very helpful and they know their stuff. The hours are good as are are the prices. I like Murray's and would recommend it!!

I like this auto parts store because it has a good location and the staff are helpful. Being a woman I get thought of as being not so smart when it comes to cars. Here, if I am looking for something, I don't get looked at as the "little lady", they help me find what I need and explain anything that needs to be explained.

This is a great store if you need any accessories or parts for your car. They have a big inventory of items to chose from. The store is very clean and very organized. You can buy floor mats, windshield wipers, car wax, head lights, ice scrapers and much more. It's a one stop place for your car needs.
