This is the best pizza I've ever had. Hands down. I wish they would shut down their operation in Michigan and move to California so I could have it all the time.

Volcano pizza has actually done some updating to the dining area and is actually cleaner then most restaurants. It may be a little pricey but is well worth it. It is definately the best pizza that I've ever had. By the way it is open Mon-Fri 4-9pm. My family and I are regulars, weekly!!!! :) We Love It!!!

Reminiscent of Fricano's in Grand Haven, with it's thin crust and it being cut with scissors. Great flavor, although a bit pricey (30 bucks for 2 pies, 1 cheese, 1 loaded).
It is definitely my favorite pizza joint in Battle Creek, hands down
4 stars based mostly on price.

We've been eating Volcano Pizza since the 1970's. We never make a trip to Michigan without stopping at least once for a Volcano. Sure, the decor hasn't changed much in 30 years, but we come for the pizza.

They have changed there pie crust. It's not as good as it used to be. I agree with the last post. When is this pizza place open? I have never seen a business not open on Sat , sun and mondays. The inside is dull and dirty. It needs a good cleaning. Bring back the juke box

We enjoyed their pizza, the service was a little slow and they seemed disorganized on a busy night, but the food was quite good and we will return again!

You're never quite sure when Volcano Pizza is going to be open (the hours are just wacky and very minimal), but when it is the place is busy. Its just a tiny little pizza joint with a dining area that's seen better days - but, oh, the pizza is good! Its a very thin and light crust, but it works perfectly with the generous toppings and cheese that grace the top of the pie. So, if you can catch this place when they're cooking - definitely give it a try.

PROS: Good, different pizza
CONS: Dining area not the best, few hours open
