.

There are soooo many things I could write about in here.
It's not good for students at all . . . one building that my friend is in obnoxious children run up and down the halls screaming and running their hands along the walls, another building has a tenant (above a fiend) that decided to get a drum set as well as have multiple loud parties. . . this is not the type of place to live if you are looking for quiet study environment.
Plus, it's dog friendly only if your animal fits a cookie-cutter mold, and they change their policies in the middle of the a lease, so expect to see multiple rule changes while you live there. This rule change caused this nice vet student and her husband to have to leave because they have a Great Dane that was previously approved that the "new staff" no longer allow, even though it is the nicest dog you will ever meet (and they used him in a video to promote knob hill as "a dog of all sizes" community). I would much rather have the great dane live here than half of the ankle biters that fit into their requirements. This also means Knob Hill is going to lose a good night manager/gounds guy because he owns the great dane and the new office staff are pushing them out. Plus, people who are terrified of dogs live in this community and complain to the office every time a dog even looks at them. (why would you move to a dog friendly place if you are terrified of dogs'). They obviously don't enforce their poop policy because there are select individuals who never clean up after their pet (which should be the ones to move, not the responsible dog owners they are pushing out). Plus if you have a dog they claim there is a pet park, but the dog pen is seriously like 12x14, really only big enough for a 10# dog to run around.
if you get a car port in a decent location, expect people to park in it. Then you have to call the night manager who comes and tickets it . . . but if you want to park there you have to call the tow company.
The office people are ridiculously rude, they are nice when you are signing your lease, but then do a 180 and are completely rude and mean once you are signed for a year. (the office staff used to be nice back when I signed on, but they got new people and it has went down hill since the new people came).
The weight room is a joke. It is a 12x12 room with like 5 machines and one doesn't even work (the weights get stuck). And, they don't have a means of cleaning off the machines, supposedly they have a cleaning staff at night but what if multiple people use it in one day? Gross!
Maintenance is typically fairly on top of things, usually work orders are filled promptly, I haven't had a problem with this.
Overall, not worth the money you pay to live there. Obviously, I'm moving out when my lease is up.
