My sister had her wedding reception at St Mary's Cultural Center in October 2004. The following year my cousin had his reception there also. When my sister was planning her wedding, the hall worked with her very well to customize what she needed. We got the entire big room and fit 250 guests with no problems. Throughout the wedding, everything went off great, the food was excellent (we had family style) and they even made special vegetarian plates for me and a few other vegetarians that attended. The only downside for her wedding was that she had paid for an extra hour and yet the manager was trying to shut down the wedding early. Luckily she had her contract on hand so he was forced to comply and let us stay the full time we paid for. Everything worked out fine after that.

At my cousin's wedding, our experience was still great but different. We were amazed at how much decoration they were able to do to the hall in order for it to look like a completely different place. They also got the entire full sized room but they had quite a few more guests. The only downside was the cocktail hour which was held in the entrance area. It was VERY cramped with only a handful of chairs. The crackers, cheese and fruit were all very good... but since it was so hot and we were all in the small room it was pretty uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend holding a cocktail hour at this hall unless you have a smaller wedding.

Overall, the hall is very pretty and made both weddings look very elegant. If you get the full sized room you will get 2 bars (one on each side) so it helps split up the lines. The dance floor was a nice size, and the room itself allowed everyone to fit without being cramped. As long as you remember to bring your contract with you, you should be good to go with St. Mary's. Enjoy :)

PROS: Very nice looking, great food, not a bad price
CONS: They tried to close us down early, not enough room for a cocktail hour

We had our wedding here on March 17, 2009, and it was a great experience. We had our ceremony in the smaller West room, and our reception in the larger main room. Keith really worked with us to meet our needs and fit our budget. The food was excellent, and the hall itself looked really nice -we did barely any of our decorating. We had the whole hall to ourselves that night, which was really nice.

The prices are exceptionally reasonable.
