We found REI sells a lot of good quality of camping stuffs. We don't have to go to many stores to get different stuffs. Great deals too. Kids love it too.

REI is a coop/non-profit organization. For a one time membership fee, at the end of the year all the profits are distributed to members as a percentage of what you buy. My husband typically gets $75-100 back each year.

If you buy anything there, if it breaks, even if you've used it they will replace it for free. Even if you don't like it, they will take it back. Two years ago my husband bought a backpack and it broke this summer and they replaced it free.

The salespeople are extremely knowledgeable about the equipment and very friendly. They have everything you need for camping and other outdoor sports. My husband loves browsing and finding new things for his camping trips.

PROS: Knowledgeable, cash back, great return/replacement policy
CONS: None

Even if you aren't a rock climber or kayaker, you will want to be after visiting this store. I go to buy outdoor clothing and boots, but I love to poke around and look at all the more extreme accessories. The people who work their seem to know their stuff, too.
